[ Cindy was excited to meet this new dealer of car parts, a man who claimed to supply merchandise that no one else had access to these days thanks to the roadblocks up everywhere.

They'd spoken over the phone a few times, arranging a place to meet. Admittedly, Cindy was a little bit leery over the secluded nature of the spot, but she also understood. If he was risking a lot gathering parts under the Empire's nose, then he might not want to do business right out in the open.

She was also a bit too excited by the prospect of some of those deals to pass up the opportunity.

If Noctis and his friends were around she would have asked them to take a look, but they weren't, leaving just her to head out. She drove to the spot checked off on her map and left the car, looking around. Now, where was the merchant...? ]

[Nearby were a couple of abandoned buildings about the size of small houses. Once such building resembled something like an old farmhouse. A decent amount of those dotted the landscape and weren't exactly hard to come by. This one looked a little nicer than the usual abandoned places. Not too great, not too horrible, and big enough to hold who knew what inside!

A small but built man stepped out into the doorway of the okay looking farmhouse and waved her over.]

Hey! Cindy, right!?

[The man looked the part of a fellow greasemonkey, and it did sound like the guy she had talked with on the phone. Too bad this man was nothing but a pawn in someone else's game. This faux mechanic seemed friendly enough and actually waited until Cindy was close before going inside the building. All to give the feeling of safety and sort of normalcy.

Nothing was quite normal in their world, after all.]

[ The man sounded right, and this did seem like the kind of place someone might set up shop if they were selling parts they weren't quite supposed to have.

Cindy felt a bit of excitement as she wandered over to the farmhouse, smiling at the man as he walked inside. She didn't find anything about this particularly suspicious, especially since she didn't consider the man a stranger. Why would he trick her with something like this, after all? ]

[ Once inside she turned to close the door. It was a bit heavy, but nothing she couldn't handle. ]

[The man took the chance to slip away, accepting some money from someone that stepped out of the shadows before quickly rushing off. When Cindy got the door closed she would find herself facing a rather imposing looking individual.

Tall, broad-shouldered and with muscles seemingly on top of muscles, the big man smiled.]
