It was unlike that these elves would climb to the heights where he had his lair so he was only amused by the idea of Legolas' fellow elves coming to see him for themselves. Even before his new acquaintance could tell others he could take another form and be nothing but a legend.

"Ah, that explains why I cannot see a large city from the air," he said with a little nod of his head. This forest seemed pristine, untouched by the other civilizations that dotted this world. He had expected elves to live in the trees as he knew them as children of the forest. Dwarfs were the children of the earth.

He gestured with a wing, the claws on the joint indicating the mountains in the distance. "I live among those often in the clouds themselves. It is truly lucky for us to encounter each other as I have no reason to explore the underground and I doubt your people have a reason to explore the peaks and the airs."
