The Crossover Love Meme
Everyone loves a good crossover. Serious, natural, or cracky, playing outside the norm can be fun. Shipping is fun, too, and add the two together? INSANE amounts of fun. Really, that's enough said. This meme is for crossovers, shipping, and crossover shipping.
how to play
- Comment with your character, putting any preferences you may have.
- Comment to others! Remember, this is a crossover love meme, so commenting to castmates will result in the goblins coming to eat you. Or something.

Obsessed love. You are obsessed with this person to the point that it is dangerous, unhealthy and absolutely insane; you want them to be with you, you, you, you, and only you, and nothing is going to stand in your way. No one is going to hurt your love - in fact, no one is going to come near your love. And if they say they don't love you? They will. You'll make them. Because you're meant to be together, and you're going to be together, forever and ever and ever. Married married married~

Fairy tale love. You're convinced that this person is your prince or princess! Your true love! The one that you're destined to be with! And they know it too -- at least, they should. You must woo them, court them, try to convince them that you two were meant to dance with fuzzy adorable mascot animals and have a big wedding together! If they don't love you? They must be under a spell from an evil witch, or something! They do say that true love's kiss breaks solves all.

Cute love. It is adorable, and sweet, and innocent. You want to hold hands and exchange chocolates and pretty cards and take long walks on the beach and talk about your future and your kids and aaaaw. It's just like you're in a G-rated Disney movie! You just want your True Love(TM) to be happy, and to know that you love them very much. ;u;

School Kid Crush love. You're apt to pass love notes and stalk admire your crush from afar. They're so cool and suave, and you're just little old you... but you just can't seem to stop thinking about them and scribbling their name into your notebook! Nervous, nervous, nervous. Ohhh, they're looking at you. How embarrassing! It's almost like they can tell how you feel about them!

Love/hate. Of course you love them, but you're way too shy to admit that! Things like that are embarrassing, damn it! You'll yell and flail and hit the love of your life, but it's just because you're not sure how to show that you love them. I mean, you'll still be awfully upset if they try to leave you, or if they don't understand, or they don't want to kiss you... But there's no way you'll say "I love you"!! ... Not unless they say it first, at least. Physical comedy ahoy!

Forbidden love. You yearn for them, but for some reason, you can't be with them! It kills you inside, and just being around them fills you with butterflies. But once... just for tonight, you're willing to throw it all away and be with them! But... what, they don't feel the same way? They're just being shy! It's time for you two to be secret lovers, and it's not possible if they're being stubborn! They shouldn't worry, you won't tell anyone! And you need this. It's scary, yet thrilling, and all they need is a little... persuasion!

Sexy love. Maybe there's some love hidden deep down somewhere, but that's not the priority here; first thing's first is that man needs to take his clothes off right now. You don't want to talk about your house and your white picket fence and your 2.5 kids; you just want to touch that person now, and you'll think about the rest in the morning. Kissing and contact and maybe a little lovin' are what you want, and nothing is going to stop you. No means yes. For underage characters (and those of us who w-would rather not write sexy things), kisses and flirting are all you need.

Extreme love. You have to impress the object of your affections, before they're stolen away by some fool! You can do anything when it comes down to showing how much you love this person, even if it means spending all your savings on them, buying nice things that they don't actually need. You're so overcome by your love for them, that's all that matters! You'll definitely win them over with your amazing shows of love and prowess!

Melodramatic love. This is very important and you know you're rushing things a little but this love was meant to be!! Your love life is suddenly a Shakespearean tragedy, complete with dramatic plot twists and turns, and you need to confess your love to the world before it's too late! There's no time to lose; in the morning, you're going to be exiled, your love is going to be hanged, your mother will be shot, your father will become a pirate and someone will kick your puppy!! For bonus points, speak in terrible, hilarious, terrible prose.
ten.
Possessive & Manipulative love. You want this person, need them, want to own them -- but things don't seem to be going as planned. They keep looking at other people and talking to other people... it doesn't matter if they feel the same way, you'll force them into doing what you want them to do. You'll manipulate the situation. You'll manipulate their feelings until they are utterly yours, and can no longer deny that they belong to you. Cold and calculating, you'll get what you want.

The message on his phone was pretty damn old. Were it not for the timestamp on it, Kamui would have easily lost track of how long it'd been since that message reached him.
For now, Kamui sat in a chair that he could almost call his own by now, and could only worry about his companion, and his resulting absence. He himself had sent a message some time ago, but either there was no response, or there was a glitch, and it hadn't sent at all without letting him know.
The dragon kept Shiro's home clean, its food properly stocked, and between his own work and social life, he didn't leave the house much of late. His many siblings and friends understood, but still.
Perking up as he heard noises at the front door, he straightened up. His hand automatically went to where he normally sheathed Yato, but then remembered that he couldn't openly carry it in this world. Well, if it was an intruder, he could easily scare them off. Or, if it was Shiro, well.
Those two thoughts in his head, he unlocked the door, and opened it, fully expecting that it was his mind playing tricks on him, instead.

The door swung open just as Shiro had been fishing through his pockets for the keys with no success thanks to all of his stuff. A dossier was tucked beneath one arm while the other held on tight to a duffel bag that matched in color to the dull gray pack perched on his back. Everything about him screamed return, up to and including the small bags beneath his eyes and the weary grin that quirked his mouth as soon as he saw Kamui.
"Hey."
Not exactly the best thing he could have said to a friend he hadn't seen in-person in months, but given his circumstances -- and the fact that Kamui really stunned him there -- Shiro could stand to have a few moments like that for himself.

"Ah..."
Stunned, himself, that Shiro was really in front of him, his jaw dropped, for a second or two. Finally, he remembered himself and stepped away from the doorway to let his friend in.
"Hah. I guess I really did hear something this time. Welcome back, Shiro. Want me to carry anything for you?" Maybe the duffel bag? He offered his gloved hand to take it, should he wish to hand it off.
"In any case, your home was very good while you were away," he added jokingly.

Oh, right. The bags. For a moment there, Shiro had been so relieved and happy to return, he'd forgotten all about them. Grinning with slight embarrassment, he handed over the duffel bag. "Thanks."
And after he made his way through the threshold, he paused to regard the interior. For just a bit. It was his place -- immaculate and familiar, Kamui did a wonderful job in looking after it. But it seemed almost unreal, like he half-expected everything to fall over like a cheap production set. The moment never came, of course, and once he realized he was truly home, he turned back toward Kamui, arms held out and pulling him closer into a hug.
"I mean it. Thank you." His arms wrapped tight about him, he squeezed, just once. "For everything."

"Dummy, thank you for coming back. I got worried when I didn't hear back from you." For a moment, he almost looked like he could cry (which was when he tucked closer to hide his face, hopefully in time to hide it fully) but he didn't, and the moment passed quickly.
"Well, might be a bit silly to hear about my fretting when you're already back, huh?" Pulling back a bit, but not yet letting go, he couldn't help the sheepish smile he had.
