It's always nice to have a sound (whether purposeful or accidental) met with silence when they're out like this. It doesn't mean it's okay to relax, but it makes moving through the area to check things out a little less ... well, not harrowing but tense. Paul takes his time making sure everything is safe. At one point he crouches down but it's not clear what he's doing until he meets Daryl in the middle and nods. There's a satchel in his hand but it looks empty. Not tattered though; well taken care of.

"Not much else on this side," he confirms, "just this. Nothing in it. No struggle either."
