THE SPY AU MEME

Everyone loves spies, right? Whether it's Bond, or the Kingsmen, or Austin Powers, there's just something goddamn cool about having a license to kill and sneaking around. Well, now's your chance to make your spy AU dreams a reality!

THE RULES
1) Post a blank top comment/top comment with your preferences.

RELATIONSHIPS
A) Allies: You're both on the same side of whatever conflict is going on. Maybe you're partners, or in different organizations running in the same direction. Regardless, you're working together from the greater good of....whoever you are.

B) Enemies: Think the KGB vs the CIA. The KGB vs MI6. The KGB and the Girl Scouts probably. Just. You just hate each other, okay? And you'll do anything to stop the other side.

C) Frenemies: You're on the same side, technically. Except for whatever reason, you just can't stand one another. Or maybe your affiliations have some sort of dick measuring rivalry going on. Whatever the reason, you're not going to cooperate easily.

D) Accidentally Allies: Well, you're definitely on opposite sides, but sometimes that doesn't really matter. If your superiors found out you were getting along or even helping one another, that would probably be it for both of you.


PROMPTS
1) The Honeypot: For this mission, someone has to, y'know, lie back and think of England. It's for the good of the people, you can do this.

2) Mission Impossible: You're doing some real spy work here. You've got to break into some place to get something- Intel, a person, a mini nuclear bomb, whatever. Get your tactleneck on and hum your own theme music, it makes everything cooler.

3) Spy vs Spy: It's an all out fight to the death! Or maybe just some training with a partner. Or just passive agressively tripping each other in public. You're fighting, is the point. No holds barred in here, y'all.

4) The Pass Off: It's a clandestine meeting, of course. You're here to pass off some information to a contact on the DL, or maybe you're here to prevent it from happening. Just remember, don't make a scene. You're in public guys.

5) Great Escape: One or both of you have been captured (or did the capturing) , and it's time to make an escape! Let's hope there's no sharks with frikkin lasers on their heads.

6) The Man From Oh Shit: You're being forced to work together by the powers that be! Maybe you don't want to do this, maybe it's just the mission that's terrible. Maybe you loathe each other entirely. This isn't going to be an easy job, though.

7) An Chance Meeting: You might not even be on a mission right now, maybe it's just your week off. But you weren't expecting to run into another spy, whatever you're doing. What do?

8) Escort Mission: You didn't sign up for glorified babysitting, but right now you've got to watch over someone and keep them from dying. Good luck, I hear the AI's terrible.

[ really being a spy— it really doesn’t usually involve so much well. spying. in this case, laying on top of a roof, cold cement managing to chill through his clothing, and using binoculars to look through a window ( this, it makes him seem like a creep right? just for the record he doesn’t usually peep at people through windows, just when it’s business. ) at the imperial official sitting as his desk, perfectly unaware looking leafing through documents in the next building. the mission, it’s simple. wait for the official to leave his office, then slink down through the shadows over to the next building, break and enter, and get the documents the man is currently holding. bring them back over the border to lucis, and well— he doesn’t know what exactly the rest of the organization is going to do with them, his clearance doesn’t go that far up. he’s just. well. a good shot. a good shot, that’s also good at not getting caught. can usually manage to escape out of trouble when he does get into it, but that’s just because of luck.

he’s starting to wonder really, how long this guy is going to stay in his office. doesn’t he have something better to do? a family, someone to go home too? just because most of the empire is well, evil, doesn’t mean that evil needs to stay at work 24/7. he exhales, his breath a plume of white in the night air, and he wishes he thought to wear actual gloves ( how nice would mittens be right now? ) instead of donning the half-leather ones he has on now.

maybe noct has some? probably not. he hazards a glance over at noct, who is on the roof next to him, in the same position, wonders if he’s going to fall alseep— that wouldn’t be good, if noct ends up asleep up, it’d make him sleepy and then they’d both end up freezing to death and knocked out up here.
