THE DRUNK MEME

1. Drinking Games: You're at that special level of drunkenness where previously unimagined things start to sound like a good idea. You know, like another drink. It's cool, I know this great game that will inevitably end with everyone involved being totally wasted. You play until... shit, what were the rules again?

2. Unsolicited Advice: Oh man, you suddenly know the solutions to all of life's mysteries. All it took to figure it all out was half a pint of whiskey! It's time to tell all your friends how to fix the problems with their personal lives, whether they want you to or not.

3. Drunk Texting: Frankly, you can't IMAGINE why anyone wouldn't want to hear about how drunk you are right now. If only you could remember where the vowels are on this tiny keyboard. Drawing inspiration from TFLN is encouraged.

4. Tell Them How You Really Feel: You lost some of your less important inhibitions three or four drinks ago, and it's time to tell it how it is! Hunt down the person you love, or possibly the person you hate, or even just the person you don't literally just met, and bare your heart to them in a way that you'll almost definitely regret tomorrow morning.

5. Karaoke: Shot through the heart, and you're to blame! You give love... a bad... something...

6. Terrible Ideas: This is going to be so awesome, guys. I've got the skateboard, and I'm handcuffed to Steve... is the camera rolling? And who's lighting the fireworks?

7. Flirting: While all that booze may not have enhanced your charm, it certainly did wonders for your ego! Time to find all the hottest dudes and/or chicks in this place and make them swoon before your gin-powered charisma.

8. On the Streets: What better way to follow up a good bar run than by drunkenly wandering the streets in the middle of the night? There may be loud, embarrassing singing. There may be puking in the gutter. You may be completely lost, and not sure why that police officer is speaking Italian.

9. The Next Day: All that you took with you from last night's adventures was a blur of jumbled, confusing memories, a lampshade with googly eyes drawn on it taped to your head, and a brutal hangover. What exactly happened here? And who's that sleeping next to you?

Remus tends to get a little morose when he drinks. Especially after Sirius' death. They've all been in the Burrows for the evening. The kids are at school and while Voldemort is somewhere out there, sometimes they just need to relax.

There's been a lot of wine and some firewhiskey, laughing and story sharing. Maybe the first glimmers of getting over losing his best mate are happening because he hasn't needed to sulk or retreat outside to have a smoke.

They're curled up in the Weasley's couch, Molly went to sleep already and Arthur is starting to doze off on his chair. Remus has an arm around Dora, and his chin is resting upon the top of her head. He's looking outside from a window, at the windy fields around the house.

"Let's go for a walk."

[ It doesn’t happen very often, not anymore, but, every once in a while, Rodolphus Lestrange gets one too many drinks in him. On such occasions, his normally cold façade... tethers on the edge of something much more innately childlike.

In other words, he outwardly seems to loosen the fuck up.

It is admittedly an even more uncommon occurrence for him to be seen sloshed anywhere near his wife. After all, their relationship is strained at best, so he doesn’t have much interest in seeing what she would attempt to do to him if she comes across him in an otherwise sound state.

But then there are nights like these when they have found an unspoken truce with each other. It is times like these when he can relax enough to, perhaps, in a sense, enjoy her company enough to drink and chat with her like the old days – back when they were still close.

He is sitting on the back of the couch as he watches her with a transparent smile on his face. His fingers swirl the stem of his wine glass before he finishes the content with a slow swig. ] Bella. [ His tone is soft, light – almost lyrical. He drops the empty glass on the seat cushion. ] Bella, come here. [ He extends his hand out to her. ]

So, they maybe should have stopped with the drinking, say, four drinks ago. Actually, Wrench couldn't really recall the number of drinks they had by now, but since he probably wouldn't be able to tell you what his name was at this point that really wasn't saying much. It was a miracle they hadn't been kicked out by this point.

"So look, here's what's gonna happen," he said, sounding surprisingly serious for the amount of wasted he was. He leaned in close to Marcus, mask flashing mismatched Os. "I'm gonna challenge her to a duel, and if she wins you have to go with her."

Yeah, that 'hadn't been kicked out' thing was probably gonna end soon.
