01. At A Bar: You’re out with your friends, or maybe by yourself, and someone catches your eye. Don’t be shy! Go say hi, or give them a cheesy pickup line.
02. Grocery Store: Maybe the both of you are eying the same frozen dinner, or maybe you’re both grabbing for the same apple. Whatever the case, chat them up!
03. Laundromat: Whoops! Did you just drop your panties/boxers on the floor? Don’t worry! There’s a friendly stranger there to help you pick them up, or maybe just look awkward and blush a lot.
04. Blind Date: Your friend thinks you need a life so they’ve set you up on a date!
05. A Long Line: Both of you are stuck next to each other in a long line. Strike up a conversation!
06. Work: Maybe your cubicles are next to each other’s, or maybe you work in the same building. Or, maybe you’re a delivery person, delivering something to the other person.
07. Public Transportation: Subway, bus, train, airplane. Whatever the case, you’re now sitting next to this person.
08. Jail: You’ve both been put in the same cell (let’s just pretend there are coed cells), and now you have nothing but time to chat.

[When he'd left home on the spur of the moment, there was literally no planning; just get on his bike, ride somewhere new, not think about home and the world crumbling down around him. All he had on him was tucked into the leather jacket he was wearing zipped up securely even in the warmth of the building dispelling the lingering chill. But the chill wasn't just clinging, it was radiating from one (1) tall young man with ghostly pale skin, gloved hands tucked into the pockets of his coat as the line he was stuck in was inched forward as a party of elderly women took about three years to order what they wanted. Even the people at nearby tables that had no real inclination toward the supernatural were getting mild goosebumps, but they didn't seem to connect it to this slender man still wearing a pair of wraparound shades that completely hid his eyes. At least, not without looking right at him.

Someone sensitive would feel it though; a ghost, a spirit, not in the traditional sense, and that didn't even account for one being solid enough to queue for a very early breakfast. He was fully visible to everyone there and more than that, when someone decided to push through the line on their way out, one large hand came up to preemptively steady the person he'd bumped trying to get out of the way with minimal fuss. He was given an oddly dirty look and he turned his attention back toward the front counter, looking up at the barista behind it. Handsome, in a scruffy sort of way. He was sort of dreading the look the man would give him when he made his order.

When he did eventually get to the head of the line, he'd get a green tea latte in the thickest Scandinavian accent heard this side of Norway.]

He'd been sent to Ul'Dah to keep an eye on things. And now, the Sultana was missing. She'd probably wandered about the city and slipped her guards, like she had before. They should have probably figured it was going to happen again. So, he'd checked with Papashan and went to the Sultantree...
