Everyone's done it before; you're out and about, minding your own business when suddenly, you meet someone who looks familiar. It's only later that you realize that maybe they're not who you thought they were at all.


How to:
1. Post with your character name, fandom, along with any information or preferences. Whether you set up a scene or leave a blank comment is up to you.

2. Others respond accordingly. Are they embarrassed by the mistake? Do they insist that they're right?

3. Play nice! And have fun.

Possible prompts:
It's like looking into a mirror: they look exactly like someone you know, even if they act different. Is it a face-twin? A long lost relative? A clone?

Wrong place, wrong time: People think you're someone you're not, and nothing can convince them otherwise. Maybe you're the victim of identity theft, maybe you've been framed.

Have we met?: Their voice, mannerisms, dress sense - it seems so familiar.

A bonafide case of mistaken identity: Hey, it happens.

[It's supposed to be her day off, the one day in ages that Molly can have some time to herself (and likely her cat, Toby) to relax. As in, not cut up dead people or run back and forth to the lab for Sherlock.

But the minute she woke up today, her mobile phone was abuzz with texts from SH saying that big things were in motion and he needed her assistance ASAP. Now, for whatever reason, Sherlock did not respond when she replied with a 'It's my day off, can't you get someone else?'

So she was on her way, marching down to St. Bart's in a bit of a huff to tell him that she couldn't come in. (Molly-logic, just go with it). And just when she's about to cross the street, she sees a very familiar looking man coming from the opposite direction.]

...Well, this is new, are you actually taking a break from...testing...? [And 'Sherlock' continued to walk, like he didn't even recognize her..] ...Oi!
