Love oftentimes means softness, kindness, and attention to the one you care for. Loving sex is no exception. We have a lot of "fucking" memes here: mid-fuck, pre-fuck, post-fuck, so on and so forth. We don't, however, have a lot of making love memes.

And basically all of this has been an awkward segway into a gentle smut meme! No fucking here, just tender touching and lots of care.

"But my character is a huge jerk and/or has the emotional range of a braindead pet rock and/or only fucks like an animal in the sack," I hear you scream from the streets. Not to worry, there are plenty of prompts that can turn even the coldest heart to mush...or there's some negative ones, too. Besides, can't LOVE change anything? That's fancy talk for "it's a meme, go with it."

It was pandemonium in the abandoned factory where the White Fang was running it's current operation. Equipment was failing, stolen Atlas equipment was falling apart and Roman's grunts could not figure out what was going on.

But Pyrrha Nikos knew. She also knew that Ruby had a penchant for heroics, but she didn't know how far she would go. It had been a normal class trip into the city. Then, without warning, part of the business district had gone on lockdown. When RWBY's leader was suddenly nowhere to be found, she had a hunch. She leaned around a Schnee Dust crate and with a deft flick of her wrist, another conveyor belt was failing. She could hear Roman berating his men. He would be busy for a while.

Ruby was lying down on the floor, one of her wrists chained to a post. Pyrrha saw her chance and ran over to her squatting and turning the girl's face over. There was a bruise on her right cheek. The red head felt a white hot flame of anger flash through her but there was no time. In a moment the chain was falling apart and she was scooping the smaller girl up.

"Hey! Boss, there's another one!" One of the White Fang lackey's shouted.

And sure enough, Roman was stepping through the gaggle of men. He did not look pleased.

"So you're the little mousey that threw a monkey wrench into my otherwise smoothly running day - I don't know how you did it, but that was nooooot a good move on your part." He raised his weapon and despite his amicable tone there was an unpleasant gleam in his eye. "Seriously, don't you kids know a bad gamble? You all think you're going to just graduate from that school and be heroes, don't you? Let me add a new course to the curriculum!"

The reticle on melodic cudgel raised. "Let's call it: how the good guys end up dead!"

Just as Torchwick was down monologuing a steel pipe fell and hit him on the head.

"I'm sorry," she said, calmly. "I tested out of that class."

And with that more beams fell, blocking their enemy's path and Pyrrha decided it would be good at that moment to run.

Ruby hurt. Really hurt. She had expected to come in, do something grand and heroic and save the day. Instead, she'd gotten captured by Roman and beaten for her troubles. Her cheek was probably the worst of all. A spite strike.

As she started to come to, she found herself on the move, no longer captive... and in the safe arms of a familiar face. Pyrrha. She came to save her? Granted, it could have been worse - it could have been Yang and she would have never heard the end of it all.

"Mmn... ow..." she muttered.

Pyrrha heard Ruby coming to but did not stop running. She was pretty sure Roman would not be getting back up for a while, but that didn't mean his men couldn't follow.

"Hold on," she replied. "We need to get a little bit further away."

She wished that for a moment her semblance could be speed. It seemed to take forever, with her heart pounding in her ears and her nerves on edge to get them back to a populated side of town. When she did, she set Ruby down gently on a bench and knelt before her to access the damage. She didn't think Ruby had anything broken, but she was being careful anyway.

"Ruby, are you all the way awake?" she asked, her brow creasing in concern.

Once they came to a stop, Ruby could finally relax a little more. She shook her head as she was sat down - her head was going to hurt for awhile.

"Y-Yeah, I'm awake..." Ruby said. "I just hurt all over." she looked up at the other girl, a sad look on her face. "I screwed up again..."

"Ruby," Pyrrha began. "What in the world were you thinking going out there on your own? Roman Torchwick is a criminal, he could have killed you!"

Her admonishment is tinged with genuine worry. He could have killed Ruby. He could have done a great many awful things to the girl that Pyrrha prefers not to think about. It was pure luck that she had put the pieces together.

"How badly are you hurt?" she asked gently. "What happened?"

"I know, I know!" Ruby yelped, wincing at Pyrrha's admonishment. "I found out that he was planning something and I wanted to stop him. I've done it before!" She winced back, her yelling hurting her sides.

"His goons beat me up and... well... he got in one good hit." she rubbed her cheek, wincing in pain before she started to sniffle. "...I screwed up badly, Pyrrha..."

Pyrrha grimaced a little a the girl's sudden outburst and raised her hands slightly.

"You were lucky before, Ruby," she said firmly but not unkindly. " Just remember that you have a team. And you have friends. Let us help you next time, okay? Are you all right to walk? Maybe we should get you to a hospital just in case you have a concussion."

She'd hate to get the girl back to school just to have her collapse. She didn't say anymore about Ruby running off because Glynda Goodwitch would probably already have plenty to say.

"I... I can walk. I'm fine..." Ruby said. She was a little shaky, but she was able to stand up... and wrapped her arms around Pyrrha, sniffling slightly. "I'm sorry, Pyrrha..."

The red-haired girl's eyes widened slightly and she blinked at the unexpected embrace. Then her look of surprise softened into a smile. She rubbed the shorter girl's head reassuringly.

"It's okay," she said. "At least your safe now. We got away. And if we see Torchwick again, I'll chuck another steel beam at him....although I do wonder if he's going to be okay....hmm, well he deserved it anyway, I suppose."

Well, maybe he'd learn not to pick on people smaller than him. That he could have a girl like Ruby beaten like that was disgusting.

There was a soft chuckle as Ruby pulled away, still holding on to Pyrrha. Having her rubbing her head softly felt really good. A warm smile crossed her face.

"He'll regret meeting you again...!" Ruby said. However, after a bit, her cheeks started to turn red as she spoke up again. "Hey, um... Pyrrha? Thank you..."

She stood up on her tiptoes, intending on giving the older girl a kiss. She wasn't sure why, but she felt it... right.

And like that, Pyrrha had another reason to go round-eyed. She wasn't expecting that at all. Though Ruby was still shaken up. Which is probably all it meant, but her kiss was warm. And she smelled like rose petals.

Pyrrha leaned in a little bit unable to help herself.Then she pulled back. she didn't want to take advantage of a girl that was still hurt and recovering from dealing with being beaten.

"I-it's okay," the taller girl stammered. "There's no need to thank me."

Oh, why did Pyrrha break the kiss? It felt so warm and inviting! And yet, the fact that she did made Ruby all the more thankful that she did. She didn't ask permission to do so and she wasn't sure what Pyrrha would have done.

"You saved my life, I had to do something!" Ruby protested. "Besides... I feel... better around you."

"You had to kiss me?" Pyrrha looked bemused but she smiled.

Ruby was adorable, but she didn't need to feel like she owed Pyrrha kiss just for doing what any decent friend would have done. By 'better' the red head assumed the girl meant safe. It made sense considering all that had just happened.

"It's all right, Ruby," she murmured. "Come on. Let's get back to the others. I bet your team is worried."

"...are you sure I can't stay around you a little longer?" Ruby asked, blushing a bit. Admittedly, she didn't want to go back - she was certain Yang or Weiss would strangle her for her actions.

Pyrrha observed Ruby's expression. She could imagine why the smaller girl might not be in a big hurry to go back, but she still needed to let her team know she was okay.

"All right," she said. "Let me just send a text to Jaune so that he won't be worrying too much. We'll make up some reason why we got distracted and separated from the group. And it will give your aura time to recover and deal with that bruise."

"Thank you, Pyrrha." Ruby replied, smiling at the other girl. Once she had gotten the message out was when Ruby continued talking.

"I'm just a big screw up - I can't even save the day right without being bailed out." She said. "But you, Pyrrha... you're just happy to see me okay. You... think I have normal knees, hmm?"

Oh, still hung up over this, hm?

"Normal knees?" Pyrrha blinked and looked confused.

She touched Ruby head as though searching for knots. "Are you sure that you are really okay? Maybe we should get you looked at."

Maybe the girl really did have a concussion.

Ruby shook her head at that. "No, no, I mean being special! I just... I guess I want others to think I'm still cool and all of that. I'm sure you do. Somewhat."

She shrugs.

"I think you're cool."

Pyrrha laughed. "Of course you're special, Ruby. You're one of the most dedicated team leaders I know. And you're fiercely protective of those around you. I'm sure that's why you went after Torchwick, which I'm still not saying was a good idea, but it was to make sure he couldn't hurt anyone. You're pretty amazing."

Ruby blinked before she smile broadly, reaching forward to hug Pyrrha again. Hearing all of that made her feel so much better. Though, a question crossed Ruby's mind.

"...you came to save me because you feel the same, huh? That you didn't want me to get hurt, either?"

The taller girl rested her hand on the back of Ruby's head, rubbing it reassuringly. The caped girl only came up to her chest, so she fit there perfectly.

"Of course I'd never allow you to get hurt, Ruby," she replied, as though it were never a question.

Which it wasn't Ruby was one of her first friends after her teammates. And the girl never seemed to make a big deal over the fact that she was famous.

No, she never really did make a big deal of Pyrrha's status. To her, she was just another friend. And having her hold her, letting her rest her head on her chest, just made that feeling even more apparent.

"I'm glad... I'd save you, too." Ruby said, smiling warmly. "I'd do anything in my power to do that..."

"Thank you, Ruby," she replied. "Though hopefully, we won't ever get into a situation where you need to return the favor."

She let the smaller girl rest against her. She didn't mind. Ruby could relax there in her arms for as long as she needed. As long as she needed to feel safe and calm.

There was a soft sigh as Ruby relaxed in Pyrrha's arms. There was something so comforting being like this, even more so when her hands idly began rubbing Pyrrha's back gently.

"...you're warm, Pyrrha..."

"So are you," she gave the girl a light squeeze. "Is there somewhere you want to go?"

She doubted Ruby wanted to just pile into her her arms all day, even if it was pleasant.

"I... really can't think of anywhere right now." Ruby admitted. She pulled back and looked at Pyrrha, her silver eyes shining. "Was there somewhere you wanted to go? I mean, I wouldn't mind staying like this, but you probably have better ideas!"

She's certain Pyrrha might have something simple to do or even to return to the others, but a part of her wanted to stay like this...
