The Antagonist Meme

All that fluff and niceness getting to you? Well here's the cure! The Antagonist meme - your ability to get your character's hate on (or hatemance, perhaps).

The premise is simple. Either you already have an antagonist and they have awful things to do to you, or you can pick from (or RNG) the prompts below and tag whoever you like. Make sure if there are things you really don't want to happen that you put that in your comment! Antagonists can be pretty horrible after all.

1. Arch Enemies: 
All you want is each other's destruction, and you'll get it, no matter the cost. Or maybe you've been arch enemies so long that sometimes after a good fight you go out for a pint...
2. Revenge:
They killed your Father/Mother/Brother/Sister/Nephew/Side-kick/Pet Goldfish!! Now you must exact your revenge!
3. I just don't like your face: 
Something about this person REALLY bugs you and you have no idea why. Or maybe you do and you're just a horrible person.
4. Hired Killer:
It's nothing personal. But they've been hired to kill you. It's just a job, so don't make it difficult, okay?
5. Blood Feud:
It's all in the Family, and yours is much better than theirs.
6. You're In My Way:
Either they interrupted your perfect crime, stole your perfect lover, or they just parked in front of you and locked you in. Either way, it's time for a face off.
7. Battle of Wits:
Oh they are clever. So clever. But you're more clever by half, aren't you?
8. Rivals Gone Wrong:
Nothing wrong with some friendly competition, right? Well, it's too late. This is way past friendly.

[Iron thrones hold little interest for dragons. For they know where true power lies, and that is in wealth - not steel. So King's Landing holds little lure for Smaug the Magnificent.

The golden trade of Braavos, however, rings a much truer tune.

Dragons are not creatures of stealth, though they be cunning. He had no interest in the city as a whole - only of it's largest bank, and it's greatest hoard. Did it matter if he burned down blocks of the city on his way to it?

His thirst for treasure satiated - in the depths of the now-hollow bank - he carefully counted every piece of treasure as he prepared to gather it all and take it back to his mountain.

[Loki had stabbed him. He was going to hear about that later -- that is, if he heard about anything later. It wouldn't be surprising if suddenly Bruce decided to leave him. When they had discussed the possibility of quitting all of this - the mayhem and the chaos, the burning buildings and the lust for power - Loki had told him that this would happen. That it would be the breaking point.

And if the way Hulk had fought was any indication...

Of course it was an indication. A terrible indication, he was angry. Really angry. He could have legitimately killed Loki, so stabbing him seemed the only way to get away. A quick decision, a knife from his sleeve -- no, it wasn't that simple (never was, when Bruce was concerned), but it should have been.

It didn't matter, in the end. Loki fled, teleported back home (stupidly - Bruce could find him here and drag him back to the Avengers if he wanted) to take care of the wounds he had gotten while fighting and try and clear his head. He'd left plenty of damage, but what happened to the city didn't seem nearly as important as whatever might happen between him and Bruce from this point forward. And the more he calmed down from whatever it was that drove him to do this, the more that hit him. That he had really, entirely, messed up this time.]
