night was pretty wild, or maybe it wasn't. You have just woken up, but
you are not alone. Perhaps it is a stranger lying next to you, perhaps
it's someone you know. It might be your significant other, or a one
night stand. The fact remains that you are in bed together, naked and
something happened.

Maternity leave was meant to relax her, but mostly she just found it irritating. She found a lot of things irritating in her last trimester, to be fair, but being forced to stay idle for months at a time was taking the cake.

She wasn't sure how Ezio managed to sleep with her constant tossing and turning and getting up to pee throughout the night, but by the time the sun manages to peek its head over the horizon she's already been up for over an hour.

"Ezio," she whispers, staring up at the ceiling, hand drifting thoughtfully over the swell of her belly. "I miss coffee."

(Waking up had become terrifying. There was always a moment where paranoia blurred into reality, and he couldn't quite find the line that kept the two separate. It came at him like a rush, and then eased back slow and lethal. He was in bed with Sangwoo. His first instinct is to lock up from head to toe. What had happened again? He can't think, can't think of anything beyond the man laying in front of him.

It takes Bum a second to realize that he's naked. It takes him a second longer to realize that Sangwoo is also naked. What happened? Had they...? Why can't he remember? No, no. Wrong question. His head wasn't a reliable source of information anymore. He didn't even know what day it was anymore. It didn't matter anyway. He was alive, and he was with Sangwoo. Something that both enthralled him and horrified him.

In the quiet wake of morning, it was almost, almost easy to pretend like what had been happening for the past couple of weeks had all been one long-winded dream condensed into a restless sleep. It was almost easy to imagine that Sangwoo was just his boyfriend. A small smile made its way to his mouth, but as soon as it did, it fell off. That was stupid and he knew it was stupid. The pain in his legs was still all too real. The bandages around his neck and head still itched. This was the reality of his life. Yet, his eyes didn't leave Sangwoo.

It wasn't like he was going to try and escape. He wasn't all there mentally, maybe, but he wasn't that gone. Sangwoo would kill him in five seconds flat if he tried to crawl over him and slip out the door. For all Bum knew, Sangwoo was already awake and waiting for Bum to try something dumb like that. Bum forced himself to relax. He did so by counting the eyelashes on Sangwoo's right eye. How was someone like this so beautiful anyway? His eyes slowly dipped down. Sangwoo had broad shoulders, a sloping neck. God. He felt a familiar curl of arousal begin to pull at his gut. This was why he was here in the first place. Then again, wasn't it also kind of why he was still alive?

After a maddening couple of minutes of waiting to see if Sangwoo was awake, Bum dared to allow himself to move. He slowly removed one of his arms from under the blankets and began to move it to Sangwoo's head. Maybe...not the best move. But he was. So handsome. Just a little touch couldn't hurt, right? The tip of his finger just ever so idly stroked the side of Sangwoo's face, and Bum felt an incredible shiver ripple all the way down his spine.)
