It doesn't matter why, but you're either in the middle of making out with someone or you're about it. Pretty hot and heavy, too. Who knows how you got there -- that's mostly up to you. All you know is that you're not going to feel satisfied until you're flushed and barely breathing. LOCATIONS: 01. roof: maybe you were given a note, or were dragged up by the person you're currently macking on. either way, you're definitely on the rooftop of some building, away from prying eyes. 02. school/office: you might be at the office, or maybe you just finished your last class for the day; regardless of where you might be, it sure isn't a good place to be making out with someone-- oops. 03. movie theater: the go-to place for most makeouts. sitting in the back or off to the side; just make sure no one catches you! 04. backstage: maybe you won tickets to a concert, perhaps you performed or they did, maybe you even snuck in! but you're backstage somewhere for something, getting hot and heavy in the dark corners. 05. public: out for a walk, having a picnic, maybe you're swimming! but regardless of where you are, it's in public. 06. home: whether you're are at your house, theirs, or someone elses, you're getting down and naughty inside a home of some design. 07. wildcard: re-roll, combine, pick your own, or make one up! [ becks likes eudio. it's a cute and charming with its cobblestones, bars and cafes, it's great for shopping, life is comfortable. becks loves it for the opportunity to just figure out who she is, what it means to be normal — and there are still moments when she feels like she needs to move, like she needs to do something, the walls of her apartment closing in on her or her skin feeling too tight. she runs, or she goes for long walks. figuring out how to get on top of the roof of an old factory building at the edge of the city that's been converted into offices wasn't on her to do list as such, but somehow, it still happens.

somehow, it turns into one of her favourite places in eudio, and while she's hesitant to share it with too many people, egil's presence doesn't ever feel like even two is a crowd of too many. they've shared pizza up here, feet dangling off the edge off the roof, but now the pizza's all gone, empty cartons lying to the side. now, it's egil on his back and becks on her side, weight resting on one elbow before she leans in for another kiss, and then another, slow and not entirely precise. ]

Next time, we should bring drinks up here, too. [ she mutters, in between more kisses. ]

He’d made his rounds through the party more than once, put up enough show as host that he could get away with slipping out of the foreground for a little while without being noticed. The Party was running itself now, liquor flowing while the band hit their stride. It’s getting late, but the night’s still young, and Tony doesn’t have plans to stop moving until he has to. He thrives off of this energy, frenetic, electric. The pulse of room, the dull roar of the overlapping conversations that seep out beneath the weight of the music, it flows through him.

He’s not planning on going to the roof. He was in the middle of a perfectly good conversation — but one that was easily abandoned when his attention was caught by a man in a striking long coat slipping up in that direction. He’s familiar, like he’s someone Tony ought to be able to place. To be fair, there’s hundreds of people he ought to be able to place but can’t quite, and hundreds more that he knows precisely where the faces fit with names and pretends as though he doesn’t because he likes the way that comes off. Still, this guy’s familiar.

“Would you excuse me?” he interrupts who he’s talking to, passing the unfortunate whomever his empty rocks glass before slipping past. He’s got another in his hand by the time he’s on the roof. The night is clear and bright with stars — or it would be if not for the light of the city. There’s still some, the biggest of them, the ones that don’t drown against a city that never sleeps. It’s the skyline that’s the winner here, the star of the show. And the man in the coat.

“Nice night,” he calls out by way of breaking the silence, and he’s taking a drink by the time the man looks back, watching over the rim of his glass.

It wasn't like she was always lounging on a roof, well no. That wasn't strictly true, after six months of looking there'd been her green Rowlet and he was always getting into trouble in high places.

Honestly, that's why she' been up on the roof in the first place. She wasn't expecting company at all because most people had enough common sense to sleep. And so, Rhyssa was half dangling off the roof in an attempt to detangle her poor Rowlet from some netting a storm had blown into a tree. It was just her luck that her bag was totally out of reach, too. Her fingertips brushed the net.

Just a little further...

"Oh come on," Rhyssa muttered. "Fallon, be still for a little longer. I've almost got it." He wasn't even old enough to get himself out, not yet.

Her foot slipped a little and she grit her teeth as she latched onto the netting. If she was going to end up a spot on the-- Oh no, why had she even looked down?
