Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... HOW TO PLAY: Comment with your character, your prefs, etc. If there are other grooming-related practices or kinks you'd like to include, like shaving, hair washing, mention them! Reply to others!

[Contrary to the usual stereotype, Aztshuktha bathed quite regularly--in fact, most orcs did for purely practical reasons as a society based heavily on hunting. Of course, the same didn't necessarily apply to orcish mercenaries in human lands, whose bathing was as unreliable as that of human mercenaries; being fewer in number, they simply stood out more. Having been a gladiator and a slave, he appreciated that much more the opportunity to bath on his own schedule; at least, as much as being attached to a military operation allowed.

What he wasn't really used to was his bath being summarily invaded by a one-woman wrecking crew. If she were just invasive, he could take that pretty well in stride; if she was just an ice queen, that would be fine, too. But she managed to be both, barely acknowledging him, much less volunteering an explanation, as she stripped and climbed into the bath with him.

Not that he minded her getting naked with him, of course, but it was a little jarring, to say the least. He raised an eyebrow at her, speaking up when she persisted in not offering any explanation.]

[With the duo continuing to explore their relationship, new things tended to crop up, though Hei could not say he planned for them all, like the bag mix-up resulting in plenty of new...toys to use. Even he was surprised with how much he got into the whole idea. Right now though, a little relaxation was warranted. Nobody was out for his head, and this was the time to show Elphelt affection outside of sex and kissing.

He finished adding the bubbles to the bath, turning the tub on to let the warm water rise. Candles were lit too, a nice aroma filling the room. He only heard this was relaxing, never partaking in these kind of things. Seemed pointless and needlessly long when alone, especially when he much preferred the scent of his own cooking before stuffing his face. With someone else, seemed appropriate and soothing, least that was how he imagined it. Though he didn't doubt if this would lead to other activities, which of course he didn't mind.

He looked back at the doorway, smiling.]

[One of the first things someone may notice about Kanesada is simply that he has a ton of hair. And, naturally, it takes a lot of work to keep it clean. And when you're lazy like Kanesada is...well.

It sure is nice to have such a willing and faithful assistant.

So after a long day of not being assigned any chores or going on any expeditions or even going to the front lines, Kanesada is more than happy for bath time. And it's such a normal occurrence that he doesn't think twice about stripping down and getting comfy in the bath, waiting for Kunihiro to come do his thing. But while he waits, he makes sure to untie his braid and slowly untwist it.

The castle fought off a hairy invasion, there was weckage all around, the assailants (a bunch of gutsy space pirates that had squeezed their way on board) were being thrown into pods and ejected and the rest of the team were coming down from a battle induced adrenaline high.]
