For whatever reason, your character is now bedridden. Sickness, broken limb, whatever. The degree of severity is up to you. Whatever the case they won't be properly up and about again for quite some time.

Lucky they've got a friend(?) to take care of them, right?

Or maybe just make things worse.

1) Post with your character. Name, canon, etc in the subject.
2) Tag others who've posted.
3) Play out your own patient and carer scenarios in which ever way you both see fit.

I play Roland from the Dark Tower book series, sort of a no nonsense military type who tends to end up dealing with people who take pride in being professional pains in everyone's ass, so I feel like throwing him and Tony together could be fun. I could see a modern or mcu AU of Roland taking care of Tony if it went along with some other task, like if Tony couldn't/shouldn't access the armor for some reason (the armor has a virus, or tony's too unwell to pilot it safely, or whatever) and someone hired Tony a temporary bodyguard, or if they were hiding out/trapped in the same place. Do either of those scenarios sound like they would work?

Open to anything, really. Innovades are pretty durable and probably don't get sick often, but that doesn't mean they're invincible, so I'm open to playing Tieria as the grumpy patient. I'm sure he'd be lovely. But, he also makes an adorably gruff caretaker if that's your preferred route.

[ Not for the first time that day, Galen can't help but find himself staring at Orson and wondering what's going on. In theory it should be pretty obvious that the other is coming down with some kind of manflu, and Galen even spacegoogled the symptoms and yet just the idea of Orson Krennic coming down with something baffles him. Could that even happen?

Knowing his friend, the other is going to try and work through it no doubt. Galen has seen what an illness can do to someone and whilst it's tempting to just go back to his work and let Orson (an adult) deal with his own stuff, the polymath knows it never really works that way. Which is why he finds himself standing in front of Krennic, blocking the man from getting to where he needs to go.]

[ Since finding her the previous day, Colette hadn't so much as made a sound, let alone open her eyes. Selvala was worried, but still confident it would only be a matter of time. She splinted Colette's broken leg and let her rest on her own bedroll, having chosen to stay awake the night.

In the morning Selvala finally left Colette's side to retrieve fresh water for them both, filling a skin and a small wooden basin. She drenched a clean cloth in the cold water, wrung it out, and folded it over carefully before draping it over Colette's forehead. She had a fever, but Selvala was managing it carefully. For a long while she watched Colette sleep some more, hoping she might open her eyes. When she didn't, Selvala resigned herself to resting up against a nearby tree and took out a heavy leather-bound book. She set a jar of ink by her side, brought up one leg to support the book, and began to write with a long quill, the feather all the colors of the rainbow.

A few feet from them both, the flame in the campfire still jumped with life. A small pot hung over it, simmering with stew. ]
