Comment with your character, preferences, preferred role, and any information you'd like to include.
Your character has either been injured/sick and had to be taken in (possibly against their will) or has been the one to help somebody like the former. Through the mending process, the two characters in a thread have fallen in love - or at least grown closer and more affectionate.
( There's a nod that Hana gives him, and her small pistol is out, arms stretched before her as she walks through the building. She starts with the room that they're in, moving to one doorway and checking that room before quickly moving back into sight and onto the next doorway. It's probably not as thorough a look as 76 would give himself but it's enough for Hana to know that no one else is here )
We're good.
( Her pistol gets placed on the table as she moves back to him, watching as he checks out the injury )
That's a lot of blood.
( Is the whole 'it looks worse than it is' thing true or is that just in movies? )
[He says, voicing her thoughts. She might find this vaguely dire, but 76 doesn't seem terribly pressed. The body armor took the worst of it, shrapnel causing most of the bleeding that she's worried about. He'll have to get it out before he can use a biotic field on it, which is going to be the tricky part. For now, he feels it out, palpating the pieces of metal under his skin. It's not without something of a pained grunt that likely does little to convince her.]
The water run in this place? I need some wet rags.
( The checking that he's giving the injury, the presses and slight movements around the injury definitely gross Hana out -- though to her credit she's doing her best not to visibly show it, trying to keep her eyes a little higher )
Yeah, it-- ( Her voice trails off as Hana disappears, a slight squeaking and groan of effort as Hana twists a tap that someone had turned off a little too tight. But after a few more seconds he'll start to hear the water run into the sink, falling rapidly onto the metal in the bottom before rustling noises of Hana searching their things and then the underneath cupboard.
Well... the rag isn't the cleanest but at least it's only dust, which she makes sure to run under the tap for longer to try and clean it off. It's washed, wrung and then wet again before she brings it back to 76, daring herself again to look at his injury -- in case she has to do something )
What else do you need? There isn't much in this place, someone cleaned it out.
[None of this will be even remotely sterile, but that's the nice thing about being a government experiment--the government was very invested in making him hard to kill. As long as the water is running clear, 76 isn't exactly worried about much beyond that. They can get to real medical attention and take care of it then.
For now, what's important is stopping the bleeding and getting out the shrapnel that he can. By the time she gets back, he's already picked out a few close to the surface--the downside is that means there's more blood everywhere.
But that's where the wet cloth comes in anyway. He reaches out, starts mopping up the worst of it with a wince.]
There might be some gauze in there.
[76 gives his discarded utility harness a nod, an unspoken instruction for her to start looking through the pouches.]
[Look, Hana. He's basically a hobo with no sense of self-preservation. It's a miracle he even has some kind of bandaging implement. The additionally unfortunate thing about the injury he has is that he needs to get the underlayer he wears off so that he can properly bandage the wound. Hana’s eyes on him don’t really help, but he tries to do it one-armed anyway. He winces. No, he probably shouldn’t be touching it, but—]
Have to get the shrapnel out.
[Angela would kill him for this, probably, but Angela's not here.]
( Angela might not be here but there's someone who is just as stubborn, and who also doesn't approve of your hobo ways. Why be a hobo when you can be awesome, like Hana )
Maybe, but I don't think your fingers are the way to go.
( Especially not those big man fingers. Hana's hands are definitely a lot smaller and could do the job better, if you can convince her that it wouldn't be better to just bandage and let Angela take care of it. They definitely can't be that far from base, or so the little voice inside Hana's head keeps motivating her with )
You should just put this on and let Doctor Ziegler handle it.
[Probably not! 76 is, however, extremely stubborn and has definitely been through worse, which means that many of the things he does in situations like this are directly against his own self-interests.
So it's a good thing Hana is here, probably. He takes a long look at her and pulls his hand away, apparently relenting.]
Fine.
[There's more than a little bit of exasperation in his voice.]
I'm gonna need you to help bandage this.
[Because too much arm movement when your side is full of shrapnel is not fun at all.]
( The smile that appears on Hana's lips is brief but definitely victorious. She'll save you yet, 76, even if the victory is a small one )
I can handle that.
( And it's definitely a good job that he'd already pulled some of the layers aside because asking 76 to take off his shirt was not high on the list of requests Hana wanted to make.
She leaned a little closer to start with, getting a look at the injury -- and steeling herself for the job ahead -- before Hana picked up the damp cloth again, starting to wipe away some more of the blood. Clean sounded like a good idea before she put that bandage on.
This is also probably the quietest that 76 has ever seen Hana as she works, but it's a serious job and she doesn't want the risk of doing anything to mess it up when it could be his life on the line. So she cleans quietly, only stopping when she picks the gauze back up to press it on him )
[76 is, perhaps surprisingly, a good patient--he hasn't quite lost that military formality, and he's more than used to sitting still on a table while being poked and prodded. It helps that his tolerance for pain is heightened like the rest of him, though he can't help but wince out of reflex when her hands are on him.]
Tight, yeah. Wind it around a couple times.
[He nods at the roll of gauze in her hands, lifting his arms a little so that she can reach around him.]
( She gives a quick nod to the pad, waiting for his hand to appear before the picks up the bandage, starting to unroll it to place over and round it. Hana works slowly at first, trying to be careful to keep it a nice tightness without the bandage twisting. She didn't want him to start complaining about it being uncomfortable -- those things could get itchy enough )
I think I've got it.
( There's one more wrap of it before Hana starts to tie it to secure it. It's highly likely that she's wrapped it a few too many times around him, but at least it's tight and secure? )
[To his credit, he doesn't move, making her job that much easier--though he is kind of broad, generally speaking, and she'll need to reach past him to get the bandages all the way around, but he does what he can to make it work.]
It's good.
[He twists and winces, testing it out, but seems to be satisfied with her handiwork. All she really gets in thanks is a nod, however, as he grabs his jacket.]
( The lack of a real thanks doesn't bother Hana too much -- it's something that needed doing, not because she wanted to, and she's worked around 76 for long enough now that she's gotten more used to his grumping )
Just don't think about leaning on me again or we'll get nowhere.
[76 already knows that Angela is going to give him hell for this, but he'll cross that bridge once they get to it. For now, he tries to stand, the action of slipping his jacket back on making him wince again. After a moment, however, he seems to settle, reaching for his gun and looking more than prepared to head back out.
Hopefully with a little less leaning on her, this time.]
I'll try not to.
[He hefts his gun, though it's not without effort.]

You need a refill.
( But, to actually let him know she did find some, Hana wafts the packet in her fingers )
Is poking around a good idea? It looks worse.

( She nods, putting an arm back around him )
If there was a short cut back that'd be great.
( She doesn't know the area well but Hana doesn't think that luck is on their side )
