Sweet
1. Can't deny it - you've tried to run from your feelings for so long and you can't do it anymore. It's time that you show the object of your affection exactly how you feel. Hopefully you don't lose everything in the process!
2. First time - it's your first time making love together. Is it awkward? Do you go all out or is it spur of the moment?
3. Accidental - you didn't actually mean to confess or kiss. They overheard you or it was an accidental kiss. Maybe you were just really drunk and let it slip!
4. Close as can be - you just want to make love and you've found a spot where it's just you and your partner, however you want it to be.
5. Happily ever after - somehow, you've made it work and you're both happy together, even if it meant you had to run away together.

Comfort
1. Soothing touch - what better way to sooth your lover than to make love to them and show them that no matter what other people say, you're not going anywhere.

3. Won't let you go - you need your lover to realize that you won't let them go, no matter what.
4. Back together - you broke up for a bit, but whatever it is between you two, you can't stay apart.
5. Injured - your lover was injured because of your relationship and it's time to patch them up.

[I like it! Let's go for it! Admittedly I haven't watched Arrow past the first couple of eps, but I have seen the crossover eps! Do you have any prompt prefs in mind?]

Technically Thea had tagged along with Cisco since he was going up to help the DEO with some tech woes. But at the same time she was excited to see everyone without a crisis being a factor. Since the invasion Thea had waged war with some old demons, mostly the ones dealing with losing her parents along with everything Malcolm related, but knew in her head Cisco was right.

She needed a few days away from everything.

So with a backpack of gear slung across her back she was sitting in the lobby of the DEO waiting for Kara to arrive. The plan had been a girls only outing for pizza and a catch up session along with gear share (which would explain the bow and arrows). But to make sure she was easily spotted she was wearing part of her Speedy costume, thankfully to the untrained eye it was just a red coat.

It was awfully nice of J'onn to let Thea hang out in the above ground headquarters - not that Kara was still bitter about being led to believe their only base was dank and underground. For a year! A stinkin' year!

She's not bitter.

Still, Kara took the Supergirl entrance, as she liked to call it, opening the hatch on the glass ceiling of the main floor and dropping in, cape fluttering behind her. A girl in a red coat was turned, talking to some of the agents.

"Thea!" Kara said, rushing up to her for a hug. "It's so good to see you again! And everything's good on Earth-1?"

"Kara!" as Thea was quickly swept into a hug, which was badly needed if she was being honest. "Alex and J'onn saw I was glazing over by all the tech talk so I got sent up here." she explained. She joked,"Alex also dangled the perfect thing, vending machines."

"Actually tagged along with Cisco since everyone figured I could use a weekend off." she confessed. "Still dealing with invasion fallout and well when Cisco suggested this I was onboard. Otherwise all is well on Earth-1 at the moment." adding in recent post invasion events.

"Oh no, are Cisco and Winn doing that thing?" Kara winced. If it was anything like Cisco and Felicity, then she was scared. They'd probably have to break them out of their eventually to remember to eat.

"Well, as long as things are quiet, maybe we should get that pizza? I'm starving." She offered Thea her arm with a grin. "Ready to go?"

"Its basically nerd central!" Thea giggled. "Cisco and Winn are talking tech and cue one very confused me. I was sure they had slipped into Greek by some point along with high speed talking and hand gestures." as she got her purse and bag from the floor. "And yes to that pizza! According to Barry there's one place that is known for it here?"

"I hope you kept count of how many times they fistbumped over tech stuff because we could order that many shots later. Like a very belated drinking game," Kara said. "Barry is right, and if he tells you that Central City's pizza is better, he's lying."

She led Thea to the pizza place and put her coat down at a table before going to the counter and picking up an order at the counter. She brought back six pizza boxes, setting them down on the table between her and Thea, then sliding in to her chair.

"So... I got a lot of different kinds, so you can feel free to take your pick!"

[Maybe guilt? AUing Strange as a demon of some form hiding as a mage so he feels bad that he hasn't told Dorian, or we can think of some general AU thing I'm open to whatever.]

When the Inquisition had first found him, Strange had been folded in with the rank and file of their mages. He was talented, but he also rubbed most people wrong in such subtle ways that nobody could really pinpoint why he was making them uncomfortable. Certainly the man was charming, intelligent and egotistical in the sort of way that might have been entertaining if not for the perceived wrongness, and most ended up giving him a wide berth wherever he went.

The healers were no exception, even though it was clear, especially in the cold of Skyhold, that he needed to see them. His hands were scarred and stiff and obviously pained him. Watching him try to turn pages of books in the library was actually rather upsetting. The first time Dorian had offered his help, it was as if he hadn't even noticed what was making everyone else uncomfortable. Under the watchful eye of the Grand Enchanter's acolytes, Dorian had taken Strange aside and started to heal what he could. It wasn't a permanent solution, but if would make it easier for the man to move his fingers. The offer of drinks that came later was as natural as breathing.

So it became a regular thing. The two of them would settle in the library, in the private little alcove that Dorian had commandeered, and he would see about Strange's hands, then simply talk back and forth. They'd clicked, and most people were grateful that they were keeping one-another busy. It meant that neither of them were being insufferable around the rest of them.

Then Dorian made a move that couldn't be misconstrued. He'd drawn Strange in, left a mostly chaste kiss that promised more, if it was what the other mage wanted.

He had no problem with being avoided. It made it easier to keep his secrets, especially when he knew what would happen should anyone find out. A lonely existence to be sure, but he wasn't here to make friends was he? He was here to help, to put his skills to use in protecting everything from falling apart, and he was damned good at it. Better to just keep his head down and do what he came to. Keep busy and maybe he could focus on something other than the pain in his hands as the cold seeped in, despite gloves. Annoyed at how hard it made it to handle books, to say nothing of trying to hold a quill.

Needless to say it was a bit of a surprise to him when Dorian offered to help, but how could he turn it down? Uncertain what to make of the other at first, admittedly a bit wary, but things turned out to be... easier around him. It was nice to have someone around that didn't want to get as far away from him as they could, and in fact seemed to want to spend time around him for whatever reason. Stephen told himself it was simply practicality, that it would do the Inquisition no good if he was effectively crippled by the state of his hands. But time passed and that excuse seemed less and less convincing. He came to anticipate the time they spent together after the work on his hands was complete, quiet conversation about anything and everything under the sun.

The kiss came as another surprise in a long line, Strange looking a bit startled at the shift, not at all what he'd expected to happen, but he couldn't say he didn't like it. So, after a soft exhale of breath, he would lean back in to return the kiss, the thrill of excitement only marred by the uneasy feeling of guilt that bloomed almost immediately afterwards. If Dorian knew what he was, there was no way he'd want this.

What was he going to do?

The tension even in the midst of the kiss was distracting. When he leaned back, Dorian's brow was arched up subtly, head tilted.

"You don't have to tell me everything, but if there's something on your mind..."

He left it at that, his hand resting atop Stephen's wrist, eyes trained on the other man's as full lips pursed in worry. He felt it just like everyone else, but unlike the majority, he had no real problem with being near Strange. He was no more peculiar than most things they ran into out in the field, after all, and was certainly more friendly than the majority of all that.

Of course Dorian noticed. He was too observant not to, which just had Stephen kicking himself, a small grimace appearing at the gentle prompting. Not pulling away from the light touch, even if he was quite sure that when he told the man that he'd not be offering those little comforts.

"It's everything or nothing in this case. It's not the sort of thing you can halfway explain. But... with what you've told me and this... I think you should know." And he didn't like to lie, which dancing around the subject in a way seemed too close to comfort. A slight, crooked grin replacing the more serious expression, brows drawing slightly.

"Long story short, I practice blood magic. Not on others, not using others, but..." A small shake of his head, not sure if the difference would even matter to the man. "My own blood to enhance my own skills, for what difference it makes."

Falling silent once he'd actually admitted it, bracing himself for whatever Dorian's reaction would be, though the only outward sign would be a tension the other man would feel in the wrist under his hand, a quickening of his pulse should fingers be close enough to feel.

Dorian's expression tightened. His hand slowly drew away, clasping together with the other one as he stared down between them with a similar expression. His hands rubbed together slowly as he thought in silence.

"And here I was thinking it was something about having summoned a demon or maybe owning body slaves," he murmured, only half-serious. He picked some at the ends of carefully-maintained nails with a grimace. "You still practice it here, don't you?"

They weren't sitting that far apart, and yet that small distance when Dorian moved felt like a veritable chasm. His own hands drawing back, fingers lacing together.

"Well, I'm an overachiever when it comes being a problem, it seems." Muttered in a dry tone, as always hiding unease behind wry comments. All he could do at this point was... answer Dorian, and see just what his ultimate reaction would be. "Not as often. A last resort at this point... it'd be suicide to press it farther here, with so many others around."

"There are always better ways," Dorian said firmly, but he kept his voice down. As much as he honestly hated the way this was turning, he didn't want a lynch mob after one of the only friends he had here. "I know you must have considered it. Drawing from the rifts, or finding a companion spirit. Something." His expression was beseeching. Normally he wouldn't act so strongly, but some scars were just too deep, too traumatic to get over, even for the sake of a relationship that he'd honestly wanted to pursue.

Slowly, he reached out again, one hand dragging fingertips across the surgical scars webbing the other's skin. "I don't want to know why. But there are other ways. I could help you find them."

It was... not exactly what he'd expected. He didn't think Dorian would sound the alarm, nothing like that, but instead of distancing himself, or walking away, or telling Stephen to leave, he was...

Offering to help. He was startled when he felt that light touch on his hand again, trembling as it was even now however he didn't pull away. Gaze skipping down to the fingers over his before back up to meet Dorian's as he let out a low, shuddering sigh.

"Okay. I... alright."

"You're a good man, Stephen. And there are always alternatives." Dorian couldn't quite bring himself to smile again, but he did clasp the other's hand between his own, carefully in case it hurt him. The trembling was already back, though there really wasn't much to be done about that. The revelation wasn't shaking his attraction enough to let the man go, at least.

Dorian stood after a moment, gesturing toward the stairs. He wanted to walk, and perhaps find something strong to drink. "If you'd care to join me."

Even without a smile this was more than Stephen had expected. And he... appreciated it.

There was never a time his hands didn't shake anymore. It was a minor thing at least, giving a light squeeze to the hands against his a silent signal that it was alright for now.

At the invitation, he simply nodded, pushing himself from his seat to stand, plucking his gloves from the armchair to slip back on. It didn't entirely block out the cold of the place, but it helped keep it from sinking in quite as deeply as quickly.

"Lead the way."

Dorian was simply glad that Stephen still wanted to be around him even when he'd blown up. Granted it was a very quiet, discreet blowup, but most times when he got on someone's case, they tended to storm away. He was glad that the other mage hadn't.

Taking the shorter path to the tavern, Dorian had released the hand he'd been holding onto and brought his own together behind his back, preemptively mentally shushing Cole before he could start in with his reading of their hurts. This was not something that Cole could help. More than that, it was something that Dorian wanted to figure out for himself. After drowning in bourbon, preferably.

Cabot had stopped giving him a look like he'd tracked in horse shit on his shoe, and actually seemed pleased to see Dorian for once; the man was one of his best sources of income these days when Cullen's men were out on assignment. He barely reacted to Strange settling in, just putting out glasses and pouring each of them their poison for the night. And Dorian was quiet as he swallowed his down as if he could barely feel the alcohol burning.

"I'm curious, Stephen," he said quietly after he finished it off and knocked for a refill, pouring a handful of gold onto the bar to keep it flowing. "Why you didn't push me away. Even before this...debacle. I know I've charmed my way into the Inquisition, but you had every reason to avoid me."

Stephen was perfectly willing to take a moment and drain a glass before they started talking. It helped him settle some, especially given the revelation he’d dropped in Dorian’s lap. It would certainly color their interactions and conversations, and all he could hope was that it didn’t… spoil things.

“Well… I suppose at first it was probably practicality. You know the state my hands were in by the time you finally badgered me into letting you help me with them.” Barely able to hold a glass without dropping it the trembling was so bad, pain constant and worse whenever he had to do something like try to write or turn a page. It hadn’t been pleasant, and it certainly hadn’t made Stephen the most pleasant man to be around, not in the mood it put him in. “From there it was… nice. To have someone to talk to. Even a creepy hermit like me needs a friend.”

He said the last bit with a faint smile, though it was very true. Most avoided him. Even if some put up with him as far as work or research went, they hardly went out of their way to interact with him, let alone talk to him socially. Not that it was very different than how he lived normally. Steering clear of others for the most part, embracing the ‘weird hermit in the hills’ rumors. That didn’t stop it from being lonely though.

"I do seem to have started a collection of weird hermits," Dorian mused with a soft smile, tapping his fingers against the rim of his glass. "I'd thought you could be useful to me, so I wanted to help you actually be useful. You surprised me when you turned out to actually be clever. I do apologize for earlier, I'd never thought to inquire about your...inclinations. I don't actually know as much about you as I'd like to."

He tossed back the rest of his drink, went for a refill and started sucking that down as well. The alcohol was making all of this a little easier to deal with, at least.

"You've nothing to apologize for. Not your fault that I'm a cagey bastard at the best of times." Said in a wry tone before he was following suit in draining his glass, because Dorian certainly had the right idea.

Alcohol was a good way to make things easier to handle, this was clearly a great idea.

What could he say, he was very good at coming up with seemingly great ideas.

"Not all of us can be gifted with the wealth of desire to talk about themselves. It does help that I am incredibly interesting." Was he even joking? Impossible to say.

Joking or not it still got a chuckle from Stephen, arms crossing against the bartop as he watched his glass being filled.

"Well you do have that going for you, I can honestly say I've never come across another man quite like you before." And it was true. Dorian was... definitely unique. It was nice though, kept things interesting.

At least Stephen thought he was entertaining, that was certainly worth something. He shook off a traitorous little voice in his head with another long gulp of his liquor to drown it out.

"And I think it goes without saying that you at least have excellent taste in company if you recognized that all on your own. Though does it really count for much when you can barely seem to take care of your own face, I wonder?" With that he lifted a hand up to Stephen's chin and scraped his thumb over the stubble.

He let out a soft huff at being called on his grooming, brows drawing slightly.

"I've been busy." Not a lie, he often got wrapped up in whatever needed doing and didn't stop to do simple things like rest, or deal with things like shaving. But certainly not mentioning that with how his hands had been shaking lately there was no way he could hold the straight razor without dropping it let alone without slitting his own throat on accident.

"Besides, we can't all be as perfectly coiffed at all times as you are."

"True, but you can make an effort," he pointed out with a raised brow, sitting back again and taking his glass up to sip the remainder of his drink. He pointed at Stephen with the same hand as he added, "Even if you can't do it yourself there's really no excuse. I'd do it for you if you'd let me near your face long enough to try."

"I'll manage." It would be easier to let Dorian do it wouldn't it? But pride, stone stupid stubborn pride got in the way of that. Not a new thing, not for him.

Draining his own drink, letting the glass thump against the bar when he set it down.

"I can only take being scruffy so long anyways."

Dorian belted out a loud 'ha!' at that. "I've seen Ferelden rams groomed better," he chuckled, giving Stephen an arched brow. It was really just a tease, hopefully lightening the mood a little bit after the severe dip. "When we're in better shape for it I'll be finding a proper kit to at least start you looking less like a weird hill hermit. Who knows, maybe the others will stop seeing you as some sort of vagabond."

If the deadpan, level look he shot Dorian was any hint he wasn't in the mood for-

"Baaah" Or he was just being a smarmy shit, a faint smirk crossing his lips.

"We can give it a try. Won't hurt anything after all." Not that it'll stop people side-eyeing him though, he's rather resigned to that being a normal thing.

If there was one thing he knew he could count on from Strange, it was the kind of humor that both took him offguard and endeared him utterly. He continued to chuckle for a moment after that reaction, shaking his head.

"Excellent. You'll look presentable, and eventually you'll have fitting robes to complete this illusion that you're a man of proper standing. Something maybe that stains so if you go back to...all of that, I'll know and be able to tell you off quite soundly." But the way his eyes glittered with humor at that, even with the sensitive subject matter, it was clear he wouldn't do anything too hasty to Stephen. Not without knowing the full story.

"As if there's a damn thing proper about me, dressed up or no."

Not that he was really upset about that; he'd gotten used to being seen as odd.

"But I suppose it'll make you look better if you're not hanging around someone that looks like they rolled out of the bushes down by the stables, hm?" He knew the other man liked keeping his own appearance up and couldn't help but gently tease.

Dorian barked a laugh into his cup before it could touch his lips. "You've seen the company I keep, the majority of them look like they rolled out of the stables themselves."

Clearly, his own appearance mattered more than that of the others in the Inquisition. Not that he wouldn't make a token effort to spruce some of them up. He still had to try and get Cole a less horse-smelling hat...

With another drink veritably gulped down Dorian leans against the bartop with his arms folded together, accepting a larger mug of slightly weaker wine, trying to slow down a bit. He knew he'd make some awful decision if he continued at the same pace, and at least one of them needed a clear-ish head just now. He presses another cup of it toward Stephen. "Tomorrow, then. I'd rather not go to the trouble only to have you sleep on it all and make yourself look worse than when we started."

[I rolled cuddling, if you're fine with a warrior spirit (possibly one of valor)? Or if the prompt is no good, I don't mind rolling again, or combining prompts. I'm not rolling for anything in Ending, and Twisted is hit or miss depending on the prompt.

[I mean, if you don't mind having two critters from the fade in this meme. ;) Alternatively, I could play Chrom from his default canon (Fire Emblem: Awakening) in which he's still human (a prince/king at that)?]
