Sweet
1. Can't deny it - you've tried to run from your feelings for so long and you can't do it anymore. It's time that you show the object of your affection exactly how you feel. Hopefully you don't lose everything in the process!
2. First time - it's your first time making love together. Is it awkward? Do you go all out or is it spur of the moment?
3. Accidental - you didn't actually mean to confess or kiss. They overheard you or it was an accidental kiss. Maybe you were just really drunk and let it slip!
4. Close as can be - you just want to make love and you've found a spot where it's just you and your partner, however you want it to be.
5. Happily ever after - somehow, you've made it work and you're both happy together, even if it meant you had to run away together.
6. Appreciation - show appreciation for your lover! With words, a look, or whatever your choice way to display affection is!
7. Cuddling - nothing wrong with a day of cuddling...

Angst
1. Conflict - you've just had a fight with your lover over your relationship or how you handle it. Can you find it in yourselves to forgive each other?
2. Cheated - your lover has cheated on you and you need to confront them about their reasons why and if you can work it out.
3. Found out - you've been found out by someone close to you and they're less than thrilled with your relationship.
4. Disgust - though they play along with it, they're secretly disgusted by the relationship they have with you and it finally comes out into the light.
5. Guilt - one of you is feeling guilty over your relationship, knowing it can never be truly normal or more than a secret.

Comfort
1. Soothing touch - what better way to sooth your lover than to make love to them and show them that no matter what other people say, you're not going anywhere.
2. Fight for you - whoever has found out about your relationship is trying to hurt your lover and you're not going to let them.
3. Won't let you go - you need your lover to realize that you won't let them go, no matter what.
4. Back together - you broke up for a bit, but whatever it is between you two, you can't stay apart.
5. Injured - your lover was injured because of your relationship and it's time to patch them up.

Twisted
1. Forced - you know your partner isn't interested in you like this, but you keep them going along with the relationship no matter what. Coercion, blackmail, whatever it takes.

4. Recorded - you're not really interested in this forbidden love affair, but you must do it or you'll face some tough consequences.
5. Insult - you're cornered by those who disapprove of your relationship, hearing how filthy you are.

Sexy
1. Rough - you want it rough and hard tonight. Bites, scratches, bruises, etc.

[It's really not her first time out in the wilderness, but that still doesn't stop Angela from standing on the edge of low cliff with her cell phone held up high in search of a signal because what is a tech geek supposed to do otherwise?]

Nothing.

[Not one bar. Not even a sliver. There's nothing and for the next three days that she's out here with Gladio, there will be nothing on her phone. Angela isn't looking forward to returning to work with how her inbox will inevitably be a disaster zone.

Nothing she can do about anything there, so she sighs and shrugs deciding to enjoy her company instead, tucking the phone into her back pocket before carefully picking her way through the rocks to get back to the tent. Once she's there, she forgoes the empty camping chair to sit in Gladio's lap instead just because she can.]

Well, if there's an emergency and one of us gets eaten by bears, the other one of us will have to scream like a banshee to get help.

[That also means no one will be likely to hear them. Not such a bad thing depending on how Angela looks at it.]

( this one? would prefer the wilderness to anything else, really, when it all comes down to it; give him the open air, the bugs, inclement weather, all of it, and as long as he has a tent, he's as happy as noct is when he's fishing. not a care in the world.

and of course that doesn't mean that he isn't amused by angela's futile attempt to find a signal all the way out in the middle of nowhere. he'd known better than to check his own phone - not that he's expecting there to be anything that needs his attention, but that goes without saying - but he can't help the bemused little smile that curves his mouth up at the very corners when she huffs out that sigh.

both brows lift up curiously when she plops herself down in his lap, more for the comment than the action itself. his arms settle around her loosely, and he hums a contemplative note. ) Sounds an awful lot like you're doubting my survivalist skills. ( and a laugh, for that, because it's nothing more than a tease. ) You think I'd let a bear get anywhere near you?

[She does appreciate that not only is he experienced enough not to bother checking for reception, but that he doesn't bother stating the obvious to her. Not like that wold work when Angela vastly prefers testing things herself, but that hasn't stopped some people form lecturing her in the past.

With his arms around her, Angela relaxes against him, leaning an arm on his shoulder so her hand is close enough where she can easily wind a finger into his spiked up hair. It's deceptively soft in contrast to how it actually looks and seems windproof (and rainproof and fightproof and anything Gladios can throw at it proof.)]

Maybe I am?

[It's clear that she hasn't considered that his supposed skills might not be up to snuff considering she happily agreed to go camping with him and without hesitation too. Angela loves teasing him, knowing that Gladio will dish it right back at her. It's their game of give and take, affection grown through playful squabbles.]

I mean, sure, you're big and beefy, but I don't know if I'd bet on you versus a bear. Maybe you versus an angry senior citizen with a peg leg and a missing eye and severe arthritis, but a bear could give you a pretty good challenge.

( he knows, far better than he's willing to currently admit, when enough is enough and whatever lecture he might have planned is about to fall on deaf ears. he's got years of yammering at noctis under his belt already - hell, he and ignis both do - and for all their efforts they tend to yield little more than a half-shrug and a divergence of attention, because when the prince doesn't want to listen, you may as well give up and try again later.

he isn't stupid. and he doesn't like being redundant; let people figure things out for themselves, if they want. it's their right.

her fingers in his hair is something that he doesn't indulge himself in much, if only by dint of neither of them getting this sort of thing often enough; he revels in it, for a small moment, the touch soft and lingering, the smallest reminder that he has so many rough edges that she may very well get caught on them. but she's here, with him, and he's not about to look a gift horse in the mouth and wonder why.

his eyes roll at the tease, but he's more than willing to give it right back - if only because he can dish out just as good as he gets, and she's never been on the failing end of a comeback, either. ) A senior - have you ever seen me fight? Tie one hand behind my back, and I'll take down a damned bear in five seconds flat. Without a sword.

( and ... okay. maybe that could actually be true. all of that brute strength isn't reliant on his prowess with weapons alone - but from years of honing his skills as a guard, from being charged at such a young age with watching over the future of lucis itself.

not an easy job, but hey, someone has to do it. )

[What he won't get, if Gladio ever loses his mind and thinks he can extend a lecture towards Angela, is a mere shrug a la the prince. Her tongue is too loose and too sharp to let something like that just slide on by. Luckily, he's never been on the receiving end of Angela's exquisite grip on explicit vocabulary and from what she's feeling about (and for) him, he probably never will. As long as either one knows which buttons never need to be pushed, things will work out just fine.

His sharp edges are what endears him to her. Angela never liked the fully good boys. They weren't terrible, no, but they always seemed like they deserved someone else who could really give them what they needed. She doesn't feel capable of settling down and controlling her wanderlust to be the girlfriend that they'd take home to mother. Angela wants to experience too much out of life to dedicate her days twenty four seven to someone else. If Gladios ever asked why she sticks with him, that's exactly what she'd tell him. Her duty is to experience all she can of life, the good and the bad, and his is to protect Noctis as a sworn order. They respect the other's responsibilities and while they rarely have alone time together like this, the moments they do get to spend together are made all that much sweeter by their roles.]

Eh, don't need to. [Oh, now she shrugs, wrapping a finger around a lock of his hair and tugging on it playfully.] I know grandma will kick your ass and then serve you the bear for dinner just to rub your face in it. You brag now, but you'd cry later when she makes you hold her denture glass as a consequence of losing.

[It's okay! Henry's basically a cheerfully morbid dark mage who can talk to plants and animals. I've played Person 4, but not golden.

[So sorry, I could have sworn I replied to this, but I must have missed hitting post somehow. I do like the sound of Henry, and I'm interested in seeing how they'll interact.

[Not long into this Outrealm, Henry met Detective Doujima during a string of petty crimes, starting with vagrancy when Henry slept outside, hunting without a license when they killed a rabbit in the nearby fields, and possession of weaponry. At least Doujima had experience with people waving swords in stores..?

Fortunately Henry seemed mostly harmless, just an especially weird and ignorant foreigner. After all, if people here got upset just for just having a sword, then using one would be a bad idea, nyahaha!

At least they spoke the language, and after the first few times at the station Henry managed to stay out of trouble, walking around the nearby countryside a lot but still returning to the small town. Eventually Henry got a job at a flower shop, where all the plants flourished under their chatty care, blooms large and bright, leaves intensely green. Despite the earlier awkwardness, Henry greeted Doujima warmly on the street as they set out a number of brightly-colored morning glories in pots in the summer sun.]

Ah, Detective! 'Hot' on the trail?

[He pauses when Henry calls out to him. He has no problem with foreigners—it's not a bad thing to have a varied populace—but this one is odder than most. Still, it's good to see that he's settled down and stopped getting in trouble. Doujima generally approves of people not causing trouble. Makes his job easier. He doesn't hold a grudge against troublemakers, not once they've mended their ways. Although he does wonder, sometimes, why this particular troublemaker decided to stick around.]

Not the moment.

[He gets the joke, but he doesn't play along. Still, although his reply may be straightforward and unplayful, it's not rude. He doesn't necessarily mind goofy jokes. He doesn't mind the sight of the bright flowers, either, not that he says so.]

Unless you mean a paper trail. I've got plenty of those.

[Since it's mainly paperwork he's got on his plate today. He'd prefer to be out on the streets, keeping them safe, but people don't always get what they want. Sometimes they have to sit at a desk.]

[A good question, but Henry seems satisfied to adapt to Inaba and eager to learn from their mistakes. Whether Henry changes that behavior or continues to do it on purpose is anyone's guess.]

You have to do a lot of clerical work, huh. I heard things have quieted down around here after a series of horrifically brutal deaths, nyahaha!

[Even as they laugh like the crimes were a joke, Henry starts watering the pots sweetly, mumbling and touching the leaves, straightening the pots, plucking off dead petals.]

[Dojima's mood, which wasn't exactly good, but which wasn't bad, either, takes a turn for the worse at Henry's words. He doesn't see that as something to laugh about, and he frowns before making a noncommittal noise. The whole incident is something of a sore point.

It also hasn't exactly helped his career, but that's fine.]

Nothing like that happened before. Not likely to happen again, either.

[He's not pleased, but he's not going to take it out on the weird foreigner fussing over his plants.]

[If anything, Henry seems more amused at Doujima's dour expression. Everything was so peaceful here! Death really was rare, amazing! Maybe a little boring, but normal people would like that.]

Yep yep, there's no goddess to cull the herd, so you've only got to worry about humans now. This countryside is so peaceful and green, I feel like I'm floating in a meadow.

[With only grudges and desperation to nurse violent intents, murder was pretty rare, it seemed. One of the local religions even thought bloodshed unclean! It was messy, sure, but Henry was so used to sacrifice as a part of life and sacrament that forbidding it outright seemed pretty strange. Ahh, going to see different places really was refreshing!]

[Doujima must be a normal person, because he does like things like that. With as little death as possible]

Goddess?

[Wait, does he really want to know about this guy's weird religion—whatever it is? Maybe it's better not to ask about it.]

Humans are usually the source of the problem, I'll give you that.

[It's not as if it's really over for him, but it's over for the town, so that's fine. He's done his duty, as he saw it. If he wishes that things had turned out differently, well, he's used to that.]

Hopefully it stays peaceful.

I think that's the word? The fox guardian at the shrine said something like that, about a nihilistic goddess behind a, a window..?

[Henry gives a laugh, having fun just chatting.]

[What the guy saying sounds like nonsense. Doujima knows that something very odd was going on, but he's foggy on the details, so to speak. Some of them would be hard for him to believe.]

[This guy is even weirder than Adachi, in some ways. But he doesn't really care to think about that too much at the moment, along with all this murder talk.]

[Speaking of, some of the other plants look pretty droopy. Like a little potted rosebush has browning blossoms, so Henry pricks their finger on a thorn and mutters an incantation, making the bush bloom out sweetly.]
