They couldn't lead more different lives if they tried. While he was still young, Hayabusa had followed the unusual path of training to be a real-life ninja, serving as protector of an entire village hidden deep in the forest, fighting demons and soldiers alike. Cindy had stayed in the city, working in the family business. But Hayabusa had never forgotten the bond he had with his sister, and whenever the time allowed, he did what he could to pay Cindy a visit.
Of course, if his younger sister truly knew what was on his mind on this occasion, she might not be quite as welcoming. But then again, Hayabusa thought she might. After all, he was certain that something had been brewing between them on his last couple of visits, a connection-- an attraction-- that he could feel and was convinced was not one sided.
One way or another, he was going to find out. He arrived at her doorstep just as he knew she'd be returning to her place after work.

When had it started? The attraction had been brewing for awhile now, as she grew up and began to admire men and not just cars. Hayabusa was gorgeous, something she couldn't help but notice even with their familial bonds. Was it wrong to think that? Of course. That didn't mean she could stop herself.
That day when Hayabusa came to visit, Cindy had just returned from a grueling day at work. She opened the door, still dressed from work, with dirt stains all over. Someone sure could use a bath.
Thoughts of cleaning up came second to greeting her brother, however. With a big smile, she charged in for a hug. "Big brother! It's great to see you!"
