It's an old trope, admittedly, but an understandable one. You're hurt - physically or emotionally - and perhaps even on the brink of death. And then, out of the blue, someone saves you and brings you back. They heal you, they feed you, cloth you, wash you. In the human mind, the intimacies can bring up warm feelings, even in the hardest of hearts. Will you fight them or let them grow? And what about when it's time to leave? You may not feel like leaving your angel...

HOW TO PLAY
1. Comment with your character and preferences. Mention if you'd prefer to play the healer or the healed - or both, for greatest versatility!
2. Reply to others.

This was getting to be a habit, this whole stumbling on each other while severely injured deal.

Peter, for one, still preferred to keep out of frays, but due to his-- let's say less than stellar behaviour previously towards Scott McCall which may or may not have involved a murder attempt-- he's been put on active duty, just like the rest of the pact. Possibly as penance of punishment or everyone was hoping that he'd be picked off eventually one of these days, with Peter personally betting on the latter.

Either way, it meant that he was haunting Beacon Hills Memorial with the rest of the Scooby gang on a Thursday night, attempting and successfully locating the culprit behind the recent string of attacks on expecting mothers and small children (with several fatalities), but failing completely at taking it down.

The aswang grew to six foot and had extremely long, flexible, strong proboscises that could stab through, well, most humans. And werewolves, as it turned out. (Turned out the wikipedia article was also wrong on how they were mostly docile and shy, man eating tendencies aside.) Now, Peter was perfectly fine, what with being agile and fast to boot, but Chris.

Chris was bleeding out all over the hospital floor. At least until Peter ducked in, tossing one of Chris's arms over his shoulders, dragging him down the hallway and away from the debacle taking place.

"Maybe you ought to seriously consider retirement," he said. "The amount of gut wounds you suffer can't be healthy."
