[It had barely been a full day, yet Yuuri had been more than distracted. Typically that doesn't bode well in the slightest when it comes to performing. In one way it's impressive that he pulled everything off just fine, save for changing a few things up. He had qualified for the finals, which means it hadn't been all that bad at all. He put his heart and all of himself into it. He felt Viktor's support even while the other wasn't physically present. Truthfully, of course he should be plenty capable of doing so alone, but amidst it all, it truly was a challenge.

. . . and it's barely been a full day, but already felt like forever. Seeing Viktor again was like a breath of fresh air, although that's putting things lightly. It left Yuuri realizing, for once, just how much he's adjusted to having the other around him, practically at his side no matter what. It's become more and more fitting to call all of his feelings, as they are, as 'love.' Yet also, he really doesn't know how to put it. Only that it's a feeling he's never felt before. . . and it's one he never again wants to go without.

At some point they reached his house again, with Yuuri unable to let go of Viktor's hand the whole way. Congratulations with his family and friends were in order, just as well as a small celebration, which was becoming the norm for this kind of thing, really. Finally, though, people began to filter out. It's the same for he and Viktor, only Yuuri ended up lingering by the other's room, peeking inside.

He doesn't even need to ask, and yet— ]

[It's been over a year since they met, since Dazai unceremoniously arrived and crossed paths with Cecil. He'd been an unrelenting flirt at first, but that faded quickly as he became more and more interested in everything else about her. She's beautiful and intelligent and headstrong and capable, and nothing like the skin-deep women he's well known for loving and leaving. His reputation is deserved. Still, after a while it gets old trying to find fulfillment in torrid affairs. It's funny that the thought process had such an unusual conclusion.
