and since we've no place to go

❄ it's quiet
and the snow's beautiful tonight
snowfall;
stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.
scenarios;
① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.

Couldn't fucking miss it.
Sank back against the couch, hand finally leaving their dicks and sort of thrown around Jack. Pulled him closer, head resting against the one at his shoulder. Some thought getting him to pull the fallen blanket better around them- half-assed as that might have been.]

All he really wants to do is stay exactly where they are, Gabriel’s arms around him, but after a moment he starts to get a little too uncomfortable. He pulls himself off Gabe’s lap and settles in next to him, shrugging the blanket off his shoulder a bit. He doesn’t really need it, after all that.]
Warm enough yet?

Weird but deep sound.]
Warmed up better than what the coffee would have done.

Let me clean you up.
[There isn't much in the safe house, but he manages to produce a clean towel. Jack takes a moment to wipe the quickly-drying come off his stomach before kneeling in front of Gabriel and giving him the same treatment. He's careful, gentle, and he meets Gabriel's eyes as he does it, the ghost of a smile on his face.]

[Like he didn't help. Still, there was something like a held back chuckle there in his voice, head tilted as he watched Jack in his little hunt for something to use.
Doesn't hurt that he relaxes a bit further, reaching a hand without second thought to just brush his knuckles against Jack's cheek. Brief, but still a careful sort of touch and a faint smile that would be missed by anyone else. Spent long enough together, be harder for Jack to.]

[That there was going to be a mess. Jack doesn't mind, and he's diligent in his cleanup, even as he imagines that the towel is a little rough. He holds it out for Gabriel's hands, and then he's crawling back onto the couch, pulling up his shorts and settling into Gabriel's side.]
No complaining.

[Hands were cleaned and the towel was given a brief look before it was being tossed aside; not to be lost, but to just be dealt with later, wasn't about to get up just for that. Even balled it up so most of the mess was inside all of that cloth.
Tucking himself back in, head rolled back against the couch with a slightly over-dramatic huff. Leaning against Jack as the corner of his mouth twitched.]
Clean up well enough.

He can worry about that--and everything else on the other side of this safehouse--later. For now, he wants to have Gabriel while he still can, shifting so that he can kiss Gabriel right where his mouth twitches.]
Least I could do.
no subject
... Not that it was all bad, eyes rolling at the kiss even as his head tilted to press a quick peck in return, chuckling lowly.]
Uh huh. Goodness of your heart and all.

[Jack leans in a little more to press his lips to the underside of Gabe's chin, catching the edge of his beard and grinning against him. Maybe that's not exactly what he said, but it's possible the sentiment is there.]
You're lucky.
no subject
[Let out a breath, more of a sigh than anything, and Gabriel carefully tucked an arm around Jack while tilting his head. Giving his size a squeeze. Take this much now.]
Sure you're not the lucky one?
no subject
[But only a little bit.]
Not gonna sit around and stroke your ego.
no subject
[The set-up was there, and there was that damned smirk right there soon as the words left his mouth.]
no subject
Yeah, if that's how you want to play it.

Doesn't sound like a complain to me.
