Though the concept of "adolescence" is a relatively new one, the nebulous age between the onset of puberty and the age of majority has almost always been a time for changes. A young person's body as well as their mind is changing, but most importantly, they are on their way to becoming a sexually mature adult. Often times, these adolescents may feel the desire to express themselves in this intimate way and experiment with others their own age. This may happen in a safe environment, but not always. Depending on the time and place, these sort of activities may be viewed as harmless or the ultimate taboos, especially if the desired person or act is otherwise "deviant." Still, that doesn't change the fact that the urge, more likely than not, is very, very present.

[Hmm! I rather love enthusiastic, fluffy-but-energetic first times myself and these two seem like they'd be pretty great for it. Ivan's a little more shy/reserved but if he likes somebody, it would only take a little prodding to get him to go with it. Lighthearted sex is great.

Maybe New Years Eve at one of their houses with just the two of them or something? I kind of like the idea of them deciding to just skip going to a party, stay at one of their places overnight and ring in the new year with their first time? Possibly something that started as a joke about staying up having really wild sex when they were just gonna play games or something, and then they were both like "... actually, that sounds like a lot of fun, let's really actually do it".

Also because the idea of them trying to time it so they're right in the middle of it when midnight hits is kind of cute. More of a lighthearted, friendly affair than an intensely sexy one. What do you think?]

[December 31st, New Years Eve. The end of the year and a day of significance to many. With the end of a year came a time to reflect on the things that had happened, to make resolutions about bettering oneself (or simply to get laid) and to look forwards to a new and better year.

Also the night of some of the wildest parties around, and while Ivan personally was not so much for wild parties and staying up until three in the morning doing things he would surely regret in five years when the pictures resurface on the Internet, it still felt wrong to just treat as any other day, to shrug it off without doing something. That being said, with no especially concrete plans in mind he'd elected to simply collapse upon his couch and do what usually led to at least an amusing idea, if not always great ideas.

And that was to fire off a text to Aile at 3:30 in the afternoon. "So. It's New Years Eve. Were you going anywhere for that?"]

[Aile wasn't much of a party girl herself. Most of the time, she was still doing deliveries, so it didn't give her much time to really do anything. Tonight should have been a chance to go out and party or something, but she was actually planning on staying back and doing whatever she wanted.

Then again, those plans were scuttled as she was texted by Ivan asking about plans.

"Nope, not really. Why?"]

[Nothing? Well, that probably shouldn't have come as much of a surprise when he thinks about it. But it also happens to put the two of them in the same boat as he mulls things over, tapping absentmindedly on the side of his phone a couple of times before continuing.

"I didn't have anything going on either. But it doesn't seem right to just sit here and do nothing either."]

[Aile thought about this for a bit. Ivan was right - it didn't feel right to do nothing on New Years, really.

"You're right. Did you have any ideas?"]

[He gives it a moments thought. Well, er... truthfully the answer to that was a resounding no and part of him had hoped she might have one. Then again, that just meant they could come up with something together!

"Er, not really. I was going to say go to a party, but honestly I feel like we can come up with something more fun than that. Like staying up with each other!"

As somewhere in the back of his mind he faintly realizes the potential implications of that about half a second after hitting send.]

[Aile blinked as she got the text, reading it over. She saw the implications of it all, but she was certain that he certainly didn't mean that.

"I guess we can do that - I think we got things to pass the time until the ball drops."]

[Err, crap. Upon realizing the implication behind what he just said he freezes for a second, debating if he should clarify or just roll with it as a joke.

The upside to being good friends, being able to joke about stuff in the first place!

"Awesome! Hopefully we don't keep the next-door neighbors up too long past midnight with all the noise we'll be making." From games, of course.]

[Aile's cheeks turned red as she saw the text. She was more than certain Ivan meant playing games than... actually that. So far, he didn't seem like that sort of person.

Even if he was cute.

"Eh, they'll probably be louder."

[Oh, oh wow. Aile isn't the only one blushing from the other side of the phone now as he bites his lip, hesitating for a moment before he responds. Are... are they joking? Flirting? Both? He's sincerely not sure anymore.

"Well, we could always turn that into a game too... I mean, if they're doing it too then it's not like we need to keep it down!"

But it is kinda fun either way, and he can't help but smile.]
