[How he'd ended up here was beyond Arden's comprehension. His world's gods didn't even send their followers to Hell. At least, not this version anyway. But here he was and here he was destined to remain. Though he could no longer provide the relief of death to those suffering, he could still do his duty as a priest in providing what comforts he could. It was hard, considering the eternal pain he seemed to be undergoing, but he did his best.

Being a still hopeful soul in a place of those broken down had garnered him some attention. So he was brought before the one who ruled over all. Arden stood straight, looking at Lucifer with respect, fear, and a little bit of awe. He'd never seen anything like the Devil before.]
