THE LOVE CONFESSIONS MEME

Confessions of feelings are rarely as nice and romantic as they seem in the Hollywood flicks. Sometimes, they're screamed across an empty house as someone leaves. Others, they whispered across white pillow cases as bodies lie close together in the dark. Of course, these feelings may not be returned, but it may be the only shot you have.

If you even meant to spill, anyway.

How to Play
- Comment with your character, putting your information and preferences somewhere in the comment.
- Comment to other characters. Roll the RNG to get your prompt, or pick one.
- Play out the scene and take it whatever direction you'd like.
- Be cute and fun or sad and depressing.

Prompts

1. Planned: You've been planning to tell this person how you feel, and you know exactly the way to do it.

2. Spontaneous: Uh-oh, it just slipped out! Maybe you weren't thinking, maybe it was a fight, but somehow, your secret's out.

3. Heat of the Moment: What's better than calling someone's name out in the trows of passion? Why, telling them you love them, of course!

4. The Last Time: You're coming clean with your feelings because you're dying, moving away, leaving the planet, going to war, whatever. Might as well when you'll probably never see them again.

5. Jealousy: You've seen the one you love in the arms of another, and you just have to let your feelings be known so they don't end up with the wrong person! Selfish, what's selfish?

6. Drunk: A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts, so maybe you should be careful what you say, or you'll be telling your best friend you have the hots for her. Awkward.

7. Lie: You don't actually have feelings for this person, but you need them to believe that you do in order to use them, get something, or perhaps to not hurt their feelings.

8. Sweet: You confess...and they feel the same, and have wanted to say it for a while. Oh, how cute! Go on and enjoy your cute little romance.

9. One-sided: One of you confessed, but it's completely unrequited. Can you still be friends, or is that too painful?

10. Forbidden: Your love for this person is totally uncool - not allowed, even. But it has to be brought to light, preferably by you.

11. Unfulfilled: While you both love each other, you decided mutually that this can't go any further.

(I like boiling points, post-sex confessions, admissions that're tied to conflicts between the characters or are fueled by concern pre-, mid-, or post-battle. Morrigan's extremely unlikely to be the first one to admit love, but I'm not against this being her I-love-you or a mutual thing. Or your character could already have said it and this could be the first time she's done it herself. No Wardens here, please.)

[Hello! Up for cute confessions with these two?]

[Sure, you can start us off.]

[Okay!]

[Suga couldn't remember a time he was so nervous. He smoothed his hair down and checked his outfit one more time before he walked in the kitchen to check on the food. Well, this was a big night. Tonight he was going to tell Asahi that he loved him. The feeling started growing for a while, but he didn't know when it would be the right time. It almost felt like when he used to serve on the court. When he had to find the right moment to serve the ball.

He didn't want to spring it on Asahi too early when he still had to figure out his feelings. The transition from being more than friends happened much smoothly than he imagined. When their hang outs turned from causally watching movies on the other sides of the couch to holding hands through it. From eating take out to going out for dinner and their gifts reflecting their intimate nature.

Suga had to admit he was a bit nervous about it, especially since he worried that Asahi would think he was trying to replace him when that wasn't the case. He always watched him and admired his strength, it just came easier to hide his feelings behind teasing remarks. It eased his heart to know that he didn't have to hide his crush towards Asahi anymore. Now he was ready to let him know how much he felt about him. He had everything all set up. He had Asahi's favorite food all set up along with a movie, though he doesn't know if they'll watch a movie after this.

Suga looked up when the doorbell ranged and walked over to answer it.] Hi Asahi!

[As far as Asahi is aware, he's coming over to spend the evening with Suga - something they've been doing a lot more frequently, lately. It always makes his stomach feel warm and fluttery when Suga reaches out and takes his hand, or throws him a wink while Daichi is yelling at the underclassmen. To know that Suga sees him, and even more than that, obviously cares for him, makes Asahi a little warm and dizzy.

When Suga answers the door, Asahi immediately notices the way he's dressed a little nicer than usual, how his unruly bangs have been brushed back and flattened. He blinks as he takes these details in, and smiles a bit as he decides he likes this look on his friend as much as he does seeing Suga all sweaty after intense practice.]

Hello, Suga. Pardon the intrusion, [He murmurs as he comes in and takes his shoes off.] I bought you some pastries from the bakery by my house that you like. [He holds up the bag as a bit of a sheepish offering.]

[Asahi always gave the cutest smile whenever he flirted with him. He loved knowing that he was able to get his attention among the controlled chaos that was their team. Suga smiled when Asahi moved his eyes over him. That was something he could really enjoy. He shook his head as he stepped aside for Asahi. It's never a bother Asahi.

[Man, could Asahi look any cuter? Suga happily took the bag.] Thanks we can have some after dinner. I grabbed some food from that place you like. Let me go put these up. [Suga walked back to the kitchen as he tried to calm down. To know Asahi remembered what he liked made him warm.]

[Asahi's grin only grew at the mention of one of his favorite places to eat near Suga's house; it meant a lot that Suga was willing to indulge him in the things he liked, especially now that Asahi noticed it was becoming a more frequent thing...

And that thought immediately made butterflies bloom in his belly. He took a moment to collect himself, and then followed Suga to the kitchen.]

You didn't have to do this for me, Suga. You do too much..

Suga waved it away as he placed the sweets on the counter.] I don't mind doing that for you Asahi. It's really no problem. [He looked forward to sharing the sweets with Asahi together later. Suga hoped the knots in his stomach would disappear by then.

He walked back to the table and gestured for Asahi to take a seat.] I thought dinner would be nice before we watched our movie tonight. How was your day?

[Asahi sat down and couldn't help but lick his lips, with the smell of the enticing food filling the air. He smiled sheepishly at Suga and waited until he sat down, too.]

It was good. Um, easy, I guess, which is good. What about your day?

[Suga tried not to stare at the way that Asahi licked his lips. He brought himself back before he started to daydream again. He smiled back as he took his seat.]

That's good. I had a pretty good day too. It went by very nicely. [Besides the times he set aside to get everything together. That wasn't too bad he was just nervous, but he felt easier with Asahi across from him.]

Oh I found some few new movies when I was out today too. We can choose one after dinner. [Hopefully his confession would go well then too.]

What kind of movies? [Asahi asked, a little suspicious; sometimes Suga recommended thrillers that seemed completely innocent at first glance, just to keep Asahi on his toes and help him overcome his nerves. He hoped the movies that night would be easier on him, so he could really enjoy Suga's company.

Not that he didn't always enjoy Suga's company, but that was a secret. One he was too scared to voice.]

You know calm movies like comedies and family movies too. I found one about a nice one about a family coming together after being away for so long. They're nice movies, I promise. I really promise this time.

[Suga chuckled as he held his hands up. There were times where he promised Asahi that the movie wouldn't be that scary when it turned out to be scarier than he thought. He picked the movies to be able to spend some time sitting close to Asahi. Not that he hasn't been sitting closer to him recently, but he hoped to maybe sitting a little closer tonight. He didn't want to get ahead of himself though.

Maybe that would be a good time to tell him.]

[Asahi considered this, and ended up smiling softly, and a little sheepishly.]

Oh god, Suga, is it going to make me cry??

[Asahi looked so cute when he smiled like that. Suga made sure not to stare as he shook his head.]

It won't make you cry! Well, if you do cry it will be because things are so sweet. I don't think you'll cry very hard though.
