Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... [ Thunder, lightning, and sudden onset rainstorms are great at inspiring appropriately badass songs for the Kimisaki High Light Music Club! It's just too bad it all had to happen exactly halfway home from school, and on a day forecast to be bright and sunny. ]

[ By the time their mad dash takes them to the Kuromori residence- the closest shelter from the rain- Clochette (or Suzu Kuromori, as society insists on calling her) and Ruka are absolutely drenched. [ He'd never wanted to like Alex; not really. Merlin was far from stupid - he witnessed crops of MI6 agents rise and fall over the years. For the most part, he could glean information digitally or through another agent.

Alex was different. Merlin could tell that much, just from the schoolwork that had managed to peak the interest of his search protocols he'd thrown up. He'd thrown Alex a much younger agent already and he hadn't gone for it.

Merlin is trying not to feel as naked as he is when he brings Alex back to his flat. There's almost nothing in it save for a few model planes, awards, and a talking African Grey parrot. He convinces Alex that he's a retired Royal Air Force civilian - it usually doesn't get this far.

But here he is, stripped down, getting into the tub with just a little fizzle of bathwork wizardry. Merlin is a tight specimen of a man over 50 who isn't willing to let his muscle tone go. He utilizes it as he begins to shed his robe. ]
