Do you love monster people? What if they were commonplace? What if your late-night traffic operator was a friendly vampire? What if your barista was a succubus? What if your teacher was a fairy?

All these and more can be true in a domestic monster au setting! Scenarios for this meme can be all across the board because of domestic situations, but here are some things to get you started! If you're having trouble thinking of prompts, try randomizing from random scenario memes after choosing what kind of monster situation's happening. Post your character's canon and prefs in the titles and post the kinds of monsters, roles, and/or jobs your character would be in the comment, as well as what scenarios you might be interested in.

1. UNDER WRAPS: Maybe supernatural things are common in the world, but that doesn't mean you want to go flaunting your business to everyone! It can be troublesome to keep certain... cravings under control, though. Who can you confide in when you're a monster?



2. THE DAILY GRIND: Been there, done that. Yeah, yeah, you know it-- you wave hello to the tentacle man collecting your trash and high five your werewolf best friend before you go to school. This is just how life is.



3. THE ODD ONE OUT:
Everyone around you is a monster... except you. You're a normal human in this crazy world-- wait. Does that make you the real monster? Whatever it is, you're the average joe in the question, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun shenanigans with your supernatural buddies!

Changing back to his normal form always was a slow process. As agonizing as his initial transformation often was, the change back was more of a relief-- when he was conscious for it.

Some nights, after all, that...animal, exhausted itself, trying to escape from the cuffs he was always careful to put on and secure. Trying to keep everyone safe from himself, coming home with bruised and sometimes bloody wrists. He healed faster nowadays, but... it was hard to hide it.

So he'd wake up, aware and in his right mind again- being human again-- with only stiff arms, neck and damaged wrists to show for it. The morning sun was a relief, when he blinked awake, finding his body back to normal. He was getting a little concerned for how he was going to handle waking up naked in the middle of the woods when the winter came, however-- it was already August, and winters were not kind in Inaba.

This time, he slept more soundly than usual-- the monster was comforted by another warm body, and as he slowly lost the size he had gained, his arms still wrapped around her easily. She would be more aware than he was of the changes he was going through, as the now totally human Ryotaro Dojima snored lightly... and maybe drooled a little in his sleep, his naked form against her clothed one.
