The Highly Inappropriate Sexual Tension Meme

Touches. Glances. Sides brushing, so close to each other. The moment is, most likely, quite, subdued, and calm. Or it could be loud and full of life, right in the middle of a vivacious party. Yet, no matter the case, your blood is pumping - no, nearly boiling with the passion bubbling between you and your companion. Unfortunately, this sexual tension is completely and absolutely out of line. Whether it be the place, the time, your relationship with the person (be that literal relation or power difference, age difference, experience difference, and so on), your own lack of knowledge, or personal convictions, you should not act on any building desires. But here's the thing about tension: it builds. It builds, and it builds, until... Well, even subtlety can come to an inappropriate head. HOW TO PLAY This meme isn't for smut, though smut is allowed. What it is for is the delicious, anticipatory build up and the dances people can do to deny attraction. Foreplay, especially creative foreplay, is encouraged. Comment with your character, canon, and preferences in the subject. In the comment body, be sure to mention if there are any squicks you have, scenarios you don't/do want to play out, and if you're okay with AUs or handwaved CR. Reply to others.

[ When things came down to it, it was always Jarod. It had always had been now, wasn't it? The last time she'd seen him, there had been a moment when the two of them had almost kissed before everything else had happened during the plane crash. He'd told her that they two of them had the chance to end their stories the way that they wanted to, and she'd not been able to buy it. It wasn't that simple, there was just no way that it could be.

But now her father was dead. Dead for real this time, and she knew that there would be no more coming back from it. Well, her "father" god knew if he actually was, or if it was Raines or if it was anyone else who the Centre had decided it was going to be this week. It was terrible to think of how not knowing her paternity had become a rather large part in what constitutes 'normal' for her.

Miss Parker had told Jarod that it was back to running and chasing, and right now she was supposed to be doing just that. Raines wanted a spark of loyalty, and Lyle was dogging her every footstep, but she'd discovered a small piece of what might be the truth of the scrolls. Mentioning it only to Sydney and to Broots, Miss Parker had headed, alone, to New York City. It was another damn church, of course, and she had her light out as she moved through the crypt.

Her other hand was lower, near her holstered gun. Given the laws in the city it wouldn't do to have it out unless she needed it. ]

OOC: So I've got several ideas - mostly S1 with a bit of S2 (S3 isn't on UK netflix so I haven't seen it).

Night school, the two of them having dived into a too small cupboard full of cleaning supplies to hide from Peter. With plenty of potential to wriggle around trying to do some better chemistry than that 'self igniting molotov'.

A rematch bowling. With Allison having told Lydia she wants to see her try and beat her.

Homework and pampering, with Lydia having told Allison that she may be repeating a year but there's no way her best friend is flunking math.

Season 2 and Allison decides to do the decent thing and tell Lydia what's actually going on with the Archaic Latin rather than leaving her thinking she's going mad. (At which point Lydia can at least start to tell her about Peter).

(ooc: There's a special place in hell for me, but, how about the Sheriff and her? Quite a few monsters breathe fire or similar in beacon hills, and it wouldn't be that hard to imagine the two, hunter and sheriff, caught together facing a monster, lost far from anyone else, and with clothing damage due to fire leading to them getting an eyefull, and maybe handy.

For warmth, of course!)

[Something had changed from that afternoon onward; although it was subtle enough that Noé wasn't entirely aware of it. In his mind he was definitely wondering what his future would hold now that he'd decided he would follow Vanitas no matter what. The one thing that wasn't surprising was the fact that following him meant he was surrounded by work-- one hectic case after another. It felt chaotic, but at the same time-- it was rewarding in it's own way. But the fact that they never seemed prepared never seemed to change; as evidenced by their (or perhaps just his) awkward stalking of their latest lead. He felt like they definitely stood out something horrible in the midst of the other party-goers.

Perhaps it was because he'd run off so much the last time, but this time Vanitas seemed to be keeping a strong hold on him as they worked their way through the crowd.

Now, he'd called it a party but in actuality it was more of a club setting. It was a bit classier than most but ultimately it was still the same-- drinks on the side and a floor full of people dancing in a strangely lit room. Vanitas was probably right to keep a hold on the vampire; fascinated as he was by the dancing colors.

But with all these people gathered like couples... they stood out. They really stood out. Noé couldn't stop thinking like that. Vanitas on the other hand-- if he even thought about that, he didn't seem to care much.]

Aren't we getting too close? He's going to notice!

[Noé hissed quietly, trying not to draw any more attention to them. They were already strange enough by their attire and appearances. And if that person noticed they were following him, then it would ruin everything. So he can't help but be frustrated with the way Vanitas was going about things. Anyone would be!! Was he even thinking?]
