4. TEACHER & STUDENT: Don't stand, don't stand so, don't stand so close to me...at least not during schools hours.
5. DOCTOR & PATIENT: An apple a day keeps the doctor away, unless you want to play.
6. CUSTOMER & STRIPPER/DANCER/HOOKER: Older people have the money, younger people need the money. Surely something can be worked out.

It was supposed to be a simple mission, investigate the situation in Beacon Hills, report back and see if it called for more intervention. Granted, simple had never actually been a part of his life and with Jace being taken into custody, he should have expected the reassignment.

But he wasn't even remotely happy about it. Alec had been in town for a few weeks, ear to the ground more or less and picking up what he could. The ritual murders weren't the work of a warlock or a demon as far as he could tell, and that much he reported back.

He'd also been briefed on the other supernaturals in the area which was why he ended up knocking on the door of Derek's loft since he was the acting Alpha, or at least the one he'd been directed to look up. The Hale family history was one he'd acquainted himself with beforehand so he knew what he was walking into.

And Derek and his sister Cora were the only survivors, as far as the records went, anyway.
