1. Feeling Strange: You've known this person your entire life, yet lately you've been feeling...different about them. These feelings aren't exactly familial, either.
2. Not as Normal Families: Whatever the specifics of the case may be, your childhood was not the norm, and thus the two of you have grown close that way.
3. Raised Apart: Scientists believe that when siblings are raised together under normal circumstances, they will not find each other sexually attractive; however, if they are reared apart, they may be highly attracted to each other when they meet as adults.
4. Only Kin by Name: Psuedo-incest between step siblings or adopted siblings is not quite as taboo, but you could still be looked down upon for harboring those desires for someone who is a member of your family by one way or another.
5. Defender: One of you is older and has always looked after the other, meaning that something has grown between you that is thicker than any blood.
6. Guilty: You feel terrible for these longings toward your own flesh and blood, and you do your best to stop them. But can you choose who you want to be with? And how disciplined are you when it's someone you care for in other ways?

It always feels strange being the one who goes to Anna's door, who knocks and waits. Elsa's still used to being the one inside the room, not the one who takes action and does something. Anna's much better about doing things than she is, but...well, she's trying.

"Anna?" she calls through the door, not entirely sure whether her sister's actually in there or not. "It's me." Which is stupid, because of course it's her, and Anna probably knew from the moment Elsa knocked. She twists her fingers together, already wondering if this was actually a good idea or not. Maybe Anna's busy! Anna's probably busy. Maybe she should just...go back into her room.

These days Dal Dal was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. She was a martial arts prodigy, and she didn't need anyone's protection. She could fight her way out of most situations.

When it came to matters of the heart, however, she didn't always come out on top. Her problem was simple. She'd fallen for someone who didn't return her feelings. She fought hard for his affection, but in the end, she could fool herself into believing that the boy would come around for only so long. Rejection hurt.

So, that night she snuck into her older brother's bedroom, climbing into bed beside him, and curling up silently just the way she used to when she was a little girl who'd had a bad dream. The two of them had always been close, and even though, Dal Dal fought most of her own battles now, she went to him for comfort in this.

Their parents had drilled it into him ever since Noctis could remember: take care of Dal Dal. She was his little sister, and that meant he was the one who was meant to protect her and keep her from being hurt in any way. And so he'd come running across the playground if he heard her cry out, or insisted on driving her to and from hanging out with her friends. Even though she could pretty much beat the hell out of most guys she might come across, Noctis' protective streak ran deep.

He was definitely surprised when he stirred in the middle of the night to find himself cuddled up, big spoon style, against a small, warm, and female body, and even more so once he realized it was Dal Dal. But immediately he knew something had to have been wrong.

"Dal Dal?" Noctis whispered. "What is it? Are you okay?"
