THE RANDOM SCENARIO MEME 3.0


- Post your character, name, and series in the subject. Include any preferences as well.
- Go to RNG and enter 1-6 for a scene type, and 1-20 for a scene to play out.

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
⑧ Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
⑨ Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.
⑩ No hope → You know this fight has no hope. It's not going to end well for anyone involved, but you can't turn away.
⑪ Sneaking in → You're stealing a diamond or sneaking in to kick some bad guy butt, but whatever it is, you have to practice stealth.
⑫ Blue wire → You're faced with a bomb that needs to be disarmed.
⑬ Fight for honor → You've been disgraced or someone you care about has, so it's time to fight for honour.
⑭ Showdown → Time for a cowboy-style showdown. Whoever draws the fastest wins.
⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

CRACK.
① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!
③ Mind-reading → You've suddenly got the ability to read minds!

⑤ Awkward pick-up lines → You're compelled to use bad pickup lines on whoever is closest!

He knows it sounds like a batshit crazy idea. It is batshit crazy, but Frank is willing to take the risk. What do they have to lose, really? They can't die in a dream and this is most definitely not reality.

"Come on." He leads the way toward the fire escape, pulling it down and climbing his way up.

They're doing this.

It's a long climb but Frank is determined to get out of this hellhole before something else creeps up on them. He can just imagine what else is waiting.

Well Frank's kinda batshit crazy sometimes too, so it all works out.

Danny on the other hand is neither crazy nor the man without fear, and while he spends most of his nights prowling along rooftops, he's never intentionally jumped off of one. He still follows.

And he's not afraid of heights, but once they're on the edge of the roof, he feels an uncomfortable sort of twist in his guts. "Okay..." Frank's seen Nightmare on Elm street, right?

It feels real enough, the heavy wind whipping past them, tousling their hair, and Danny reaches to curl his fingers in the collar of Frank's jacket as if to steady himself-- then tugs his head down because fuck it he's already had to wrangle up enough courage today, might as well go for broke and shove his mouth against the other man's own.

[Shouting voices follow them as Ed guides him, stumbling, from one place to the next, the world moving past him in a sick blur. He was blindsided. He always is, even when he knows there will always be someone who resents him for his authority. Someone out there with fire in their belly and the same heady dreams he had of rising to power, not caring what bodies he had to climb over to get there. But Gotham is supposed to love him; they had made their choice when they slid their ballots into the box.

This isn't what he deserves.

He barely hears Ed at all, barely feels a thing, high on adrenaline and spitting fury.]

They won't get away with this!

[He snarls out between rasping breaths. But from the way he crumples against the wall, wild-eyed and jittery, he seems more like a hurt kid than anything else. He's paler than usual - no small feat -, skin shiny with sweat. Bleeding too, a red line now crawling down his forehead and more of it blotting his clothes, almost black against the deep violet shade of his suit.]

I will destroy them!

[He pauses suddenly, unsure what to make of the prickly sensation along his scalp and eyebrow, and touches his skin. The tips of his fingers come back slick and red.

Something clicks.

He blinks and snaps to attention, stunned, staring at Ed. A wave of panic threatens to seal his throat shut. What if they had--]

Ed--! [His gaze is searching, desperate.] Are you hurt?

"Good, cause I do." It's what he wants, what he's always wanted, but he wants Ronan more. Even now, after everything that happened, he wants. Maybe this isn't hell after all. Maybe some fucked up crazy magical thing happened when he died and be got shoved back here to where it all started. He almost laughs at how crazy that is, but hey, he can pull shit out of his dreams.

Whatever it is, Ronan isnt looking at him like he's the enemy. He's looking at him with some kind of interest, and Kavinsky can work with that.

"Guess you're an observant little fuck, though cause you're right. I'm new. Just moved here." He smirks, taking a step closer, then turns slightly so his shoulder bumps into Ronan and points at the Evo. "That kne, right over there."

He gives Ronan a nudge, then starts walking away from Aglionby, toward the car. "You comin?"

The only thing that has felt solid and real throughout this entire fucked up experience is Danny. Even the wind feels fake after a while, the height not so daunting, the nighttime too stark and unchanging. There are no cars, no people, no movement or life save for them and whatever their subconscious pulls out to torture them with. Faintly, Frank swears he can hear explosions and gunfire... but before that can fester into something more he's being unexpectedly tugged and - ... kissed.

Okay. That was the most unexpected thing of the evening.

Frank hardly reacts at first and feels a weird skip in his chest he hasn't felt in a long, long time.

But moments later he's regaining sanity and pulling back, half tempted to punch the kid but instead he grabs the front of his shirt right back, looking fucking confused. "You know I'm not part of the goddamn dream right?"

Danny leans back a little, or as far a he can with Frank's hand fisted in his shirt, and gives him a smile--weak as it is, but his heart's still heavy despite his new found adrenaline rush.

"Yeah? But I kinda figured if you get to be crazy enough to jump off a roof, I get to be crazy enough to steal at least one before we maybe die." He shifts back until the edge of his heels are on the ledge of the roof and all Frank has to do is let go and gravity would probably take over the rest.

"Yanno, just in case."

Of course somehow this ends up being up to Frank, fate put in his hands. The logical part of his brain knows this isn't reality, that the pain felt in their bodies is from injuries earned fighting before put under this spell, but there's also the human fear of falling to battle with. The urge to jump off a building isn't strong with either of them, naturally, nor does Frank enjoy the idea of tossing Danny off a building.

But, well, this isn't real, right?

Frank looks thoroughly confused by what just happened within the last ten seconds but after a few moments of staring and heavier breaths he makes the rash decision to go with the flow and pull him in for one more hasty kiss, harder than initially intended - and then he's letting Danny go.

"King of Henrietta? Come on man, think bigger." If you were going to rule there were bigger, better places.

"Guess you can say that." Ronan gives a quick nod of his head. "Where you from?"

Looking at the car he smirks and feels a pang of jealousy. He wanted his own car. Desperately wanted to stop being driven to and from school by his uptight older brother. This car is a teen boys wet dream.

"Fuck yeah I'm coming." He gives his shoulder a shove back. "This car fast?"

He is a little grumpy, isn't he?

[Not that Dusty saw anything wrong with that. It made him what he was almost like what made Dusty into such a mother hen. If they were all alike, things wouldn't be so interesting after all.

He glanced over at Fafnir and just resisted to urge to pat the guy on the head. He was so cutely grumpy, just like a certain vampire elder at the beginning of their association. Tarr had grown out of it for the most part, but there was still that grumpiness unlaying some of their more relaxed fights.]

Now, now, don't get so stiff over a conversation. If I didn't know any better, I'd think that you purposely want to hate everything with that grumpy face.

"Ryan? You asked Ryan to wake me up?"

He says that as though talking to Ryan at all is a failing in and of itself.

Why is she even talking to that guy? Did Josh just wake up in the Twilight Zone?

"Actually, forget it — I don't have the time or the mental energy to do the calculations necessary to figure out what possessed you to talk to Ryan, of all people, in the first place—" But he has the time and mental energy needed to run his mouth on and on, of course. "—and then decide that he was worth recruiting to your little cause of failing to wake me up."

Pause. More blankets rustling. Feet hitting the floor. The phone, falling, and Josh cursing somewhere off in the distance.

"Look, I was really tired," he says, exasperated, once the phone is back in his hand. "I didn't get to sleep 'til four. Actually, it was after four. I probably had a sleep debt to pay off."

'Probably.'

"Tell Leo I'll be there in twenty minutes. Maybe, uh, bring him a pastry or something."

This is not good.

[A simple statement but a fitting on given that outside, all he could hear was more bullet fire and laughter. They needed help. And his experience with the GCPD taught him that in situations like this? Nine times out of ten, they would drop the ball. Through incompetence, idiocy or just not wanting to get involved. And given their opinions on Oswald and himself, he wouldn't be shocked if they just happened to 'mess up'. No one else would come for them either, not on short notice.

He huffs and looks at the door, trying to calculate in his head how to do this. They could get through the door eventually, he was sure of it. He reaches his hand out and touches the cool metal, trying to think what to do now.

They had to leave entirely, not hide but how were they supposed to do that? Maybe they'd run out of bullets. Nah. Impossible.]

For now, I rather think we should focus on surviving them. There was roughly twelve to fifteen of them by my count and they each had more than one weapon from what I could see. It's unlikely they'll run out of bullets and they don't seem to be in any hurry.

[Just great. He turns around and pauses, frowning at the question. Was he hurt? He runs his hand along himself to check, pausing when he finds blood. He looks down and there's a mark on his arm where a bullet grazed him but in his current state, he didn't really feel it. It was nothing. An irrelevance. He had to think, not feel. It'd smart later but right now, he was good.]

I'm fine. [There was a beat as he looks Oswald over.] You're not. You're bleeding. Are you okay?

[He moves away from the door and in closer, eyes on his suit where the blood stains were. Where were they coming from?]

"I am thinking big. Big picture and all that. Every empire starts small. Gotta give people what they want and build up from there." And what did that get him in the end? Do people still think about him now that he's dead? Or was... shit, he doesn't even know anymore. This is all very confusing.

Kavinsky's jersey accent still slips through here and there, along with a slight Bulgarian one from time to time, but now that he's here, he wants to leave Jersey far behind. "Nowhere worth talking about and I'm glad I left it behind." That view of things never changed, no matter how long he lived in this small town. He didn't completely hate it here.

He smirks, walking backwards toward his car. "Faster than you can even imagine, lady. I'm gonan show you the time of your fucking life."

[He's here, gulping at air but still standing, and he knows he only has Ed to thank for that after the way his body had locked up at the sight of gun barrels trained right on him. In a different time and a different place, likely with a wine glass in hand, the question would've gotten Ed a pointed look and a wry, snippy remark.]

You saved me... [He looks down at himself, back at Ed, and then glances around the room they've shut themselves into. Protected, trapped.] Here, you will need this --

[He reaches for his pocket square to press to Ed's wound, determined to be useful but not knowing what else to do with himself. It's Ed who has the medical know-how. But his hand doesn't make it so far. Nerves twinge with his intent but his arm on his left side is leaden and weak.]

Matt leans into Danny, pretending to be thinking hard about it. "Buy me lunch at that ramen place we like."

[There was a fight, and it was between a young woman in red armor, wielding a pair of gattling guns that seemed... far too large for her, and an army of bizarre, multi-colored creatures. And yet, the young woman seemed to be wielding them almost effortlessly.

And the singing? Also from her.]

... Fuck worrying about if you’re in short or long range, all that matters is that I hit y- ARGH!

[She let out a cry as she was suddenly blasted off her feet by a volley of energy attacks from the monsters. She stumbled back, struggling to remain on her feet...]

[For all that she had expected him to deny it, Kyoko hadn't quite expected him to be so sincere about it. Even now, that's all it takes for her heart to skip a beat, and her expression softens. She chuckles, shakes her head. He really is being ridiculous.]

[After placing her hand on his arm, Kyoko kisses Yu's cheek.]

I would never have stayed if it weren't for you.

"If you want that sort of thing. Good luck." That wasn't anything like what Ronan wanted. He didn't care who knew him or what they thought. All he really wanted was to be himself.

"I think it's worth talking about." He doesn't have the polished old Virginia accent like Gansey. Or the real thick one like the kids from the local high school. Ronan glances at him as they start to walk toward the car. "Almost sounds like you're from New York." Almost. Not quite. Ronan had been there a few times with his family. He wasn't some kind of genius when it came to different accents but it sounded a little bit the same.

"Is that right?" He asks with a challenge in his voice.

"Thanks, man. Not that I need it. I make my own kinda luck." For Kavinsky, that is himself. The bigger the better and all that. Maybe he can do better this time. Maybe it won't end in a fiery blaze. He has no idea how to get there, but if he's stuck in this place? He's going to have to figure something out.

For now though, he doesn't really care about being stuck or not, because he's here with Ronan and he knows more than Ronan does. He's one step ahead.

He shrugs, then smirks at Ronan when he guesses close enough. "Fine, you got me. I'm from Jersey. Pro tip, never fucking go there. The movies don't lie, man. It's crawling with the mob."

He opens the car doors with a click, waving a hand toward the passengers side for Ronan to get in, then gets in himself and offers a bottle of clear liquid to Ronan. "My own special concoction. Assuming you're not a pussy. Which, you know, getting in cars with strangers, I guess you get points for that."

"Small price to pay." He pulls him close, slowing their walk enough to nudge a kiss to his temple.

"And then we get to go home and I get to try out at least one of these..." Sorry Matt, he missed out on his sexual deviance phase and now you're stuck being his boyfriend for it...

"I'll take what I can get." It makes him feel good, anyway, to hear it. And good that Danny doesn't really have anything to compare it to so he doesn't know how bad at this Matt really is.

As long as Matt knows he has to deal with someone who's equally awful at this relationship thing.

And honestly, Danny's still head-over-heels for the guy. He can't imagine not feeling this way forever. So really he does his best not to just kiss Matt breathless while they're standing in the middle of the sidewalk.

It's nice though, being able to show his affection for him in public like this, and no one so much as looking their way. "s'good because you're stuck with me."
