It arrived as a gift, though there's no way to tell who sent it. "A dollhouse? Who sends a dollhouse?" But you've opened it anyway, and now nothing is the same.



The Dollhouse Meme
In whatever setting, for whatever reason, your character has received an enchanted dollhouse. Much like Pandora's Box, opening the house unleashes a flood of magic, transforming them into a doll. Is it a quick transformation? A slow one? Will your character be able to retain their sense of self with a body made of cloth or plastic? And what about the other person? A concerned friend perhaps, horrified at the nature of the transformation and hoping to break the curse? Or were you instead the one who arranged to eliminate a rival? What will you do with your new living toy?

Please remember to state preferences in the body of your original comment! It's important to remain respectful to everyone's particular limits. This meme is open to smut or non-smut options, so be sure to state which you are looking for.

01. Baby Doll - Baby needs to be held and cared for. It certainly cannot walk on its own, or even feed itself. It needs a patient Mommy or Daddy to take care of it and teach it all about the world.

02. Barbie Doll - Barbie has fun! Barbie has spunk! Barbie is tanned and plastic and always ready to slip into the tallest high heels! She loves to dress in all kinds of clothes and wear lots of makeup and smile! She's just not so smart. Math is hard, okay?

03. Blowup Doll - A smooth-skinned lightweight utility designed for primarily for raw use. As it is an inflatable model, conversation would be sparse.

04. Mannequin - The art model. It's fully poseable, with articulation lines running along all its important joints. But the mannequin is intended for display. With bondage more intimate than the tightest ropes, this doll is rendered incapable of more resistance than a handful of muffled noises while being posed and manipulated at its owner's will.

05. Porcelain Doll - The delicate decoration, white-skinned and fragile. Though this model lacks the ability to bear rough handling, it is the perfect armpiece, speaking softly and deferring to its owner in all things, a model of the Victorian angel in the house.

06. Rag Doll - Comfort is the nature of this doll. It's been stuffed from head to toe, in a cozy felt body with soft yarn hair. It won't be a terribly dexterous model, lacking the detail for proper fingers, and the button eyes may prove disturbing for some, but for good times and bad it can be the best friend a doll can provide.

07. Real Doll - The android. This doll has been constructed of the finest in modern technology. It has been programmed literate in any field, sculpted to look like a perfect human figure, flawless latex covering unbreakable steel. Welcome to the uncanny valley, Master. How may I serve you?

08. Voodoo Doll - The vengeance doll. This doll is thoroughly featureless and lacking will and autonomy. It exists to be caused pain. Had a bad day at work? Prick your voodoo doll and wish harm on your boss. Stuck in traffic too long? Take out your aggressions on your doll. Perhaps in time, your doll will even come to enjoy the beatings. Filled with real blood or a stuffing alternative, at the buyer's discretion.

09. Another Doll There are plenty of other doll-type figures out there. Scarecrow? Amigurumi figure? Paper doll? Go wild! (Or feel free to adjust one of the given options to suit you.)

[Cyuss had only left Garry alone for a few minutes, long enough for him to check out a few of the rooms on his own. It was no good, though. He didn't have any keys, and the rooms he could enter were filled with living pieces of art. It didn't feel safe, to say the least. And even if Garry seemed kind of useless, it was probably better to travel in groups, right? They both had roses. Somehow, this creepy museum world was in between both of theirs, and they both needed to get out.

Surely, it couldn't be that hard.

He knocked before entering the storage room, just as he told Garry he would when he returned to avoid freaking him out. Hopefully, he'd made some headway with all of the boxes in the room.]

[The knock still catches him off guard. He whirls around to face the door as it opens. Oh, it's just Cyuss. Good. Garry has been digging through the boxes. Various toys are arranged on the floor. Every box is filled with children's toys.]

Oh..Nothing we can use, sadly.

[He carefully opens another box and finds a rather pristine looking dollhouse. It seems heavier than he expected, so of course, he opens it. For a moment everything is all well and good, but then a blinding light shoots from the confines of the house. He drops the toy, making a strange, rather unmanly noise before falling on his behind. wow. Something isn't right, though, his joints feel..stiffer.]

[Cyuss carefully walks closer, making sure not to step on any of the toys. He's pretty sure they shouldn't be breaking things, so it's a bit of a relief that there isn't anything broken on the floor. Yet. He's about halfway to his fellow prisoner by the time the next box is opened.

And, well, that doesn't look good. He scrambles closer, moving to pick up and close the dollhouse before bothering to help Garry up. His main priority is to just shove that thing back in a box, first and foremost.]

[Maria found no amusement in such sentimental creations of man. She could almost spit on this dollhouse, if she could. How it reminded her of Rotwang's dilapidated home, it was amusing in its simplicity.]

[She reached down to fiddle with the contents when she felt herself become less...stiff. She began feeling lighter, a weight lifted on her body. Is this how humans feel? But no, she did not feel flesh, it was more light...]

[Dreams still cling like fading cobwebs as Usagi slowly awakens, uncertain at first where she is and why-- had she fallen asleep in class? No, for she's far too comfortable, lying down and not leaning against a hard surface. Or is it morning and she overslept? Surely not, not without her mother or Shingo coming in to wake her up, and the light is all wrong anyway.

Reluctantly, for leaving sleep and dreams and the soft warmth of blankets is somewhat unappealing at the moment, she opens her eyes a little more and in an instant her attention falls upon something unfamiliar. A... dollhouse? Surely it isn't hers, she's never owned anything of the sort. But something about the thing and its exquisite craftsmanship is enough to catch and hold her eye, to make her rise, to move closer and investigate with half-drowsy fascination.]

Oh! Has Christmas come so soon?

[It was fortunate that she didn't remember. She'd probably be impossibly upset if she did. All that fighting and struggle, just to sink into the Galaxy Cauldron, where all things could be reborn. Even the things Serenity killed.


It was easy to catch her off-guard when the fighting was over. She'd been exhausted and disoriented, easy lured away with the power of his third eye. As he'd done before he was murdered, he dressed her in a gown fitting her regal nature and simply watched her sleep away his influence. It was his energy that kept her sedated still, that propelled her closer to the delicate toy.

He preferred to watch, for now, lingering in the doorway as his lovely conquest crept closer to her undoing. He looked forward to breaking her at least as completely as she'd broken him.]

[It’s a beautiful dollhouse, or so the “Hurricane” thinks. He isn’t here to admire it, though. As a thief, he was simply asked to retrieve it for a decent price. He hadn’t known doll collectors to be such enthusiasts, but nobles do tend to have a lot more toys than they really needed, or so Legault has come to realize. He isn’t going to lose sleep over something as simple as making sure a doll house was delivered from one wealthy person to another; and it seems like a low risk job, which is appealing in its own right.

Sometimes, he’s wrong though. He’s not infallible, just...unusually good at his job.

Getting in at night is easy enough, and locating the dollhouse in Diamond's estate isn't exactly difficult, either. He's been doing this for years, and he's rarely surprised. Once he thinks he's all alone in the empty bedroom, he opens it once. There's a list of pieces he's supposed to make sure are there, is all. He immediately regrets it, noticing an unnatural glow coming from the interior. Nimble hands quickly close the dollhouse once more, and he stands to survey his surroundings, worrying he's set off some kind of alarm.

He's completely unaware to just how interesting the night has become.]

[Diamond wasn't the sort of prince who slept much. It came partially with the territory: a man of his positions had many enemies, most of who were terribly homicidal.

It was something of a relief when he discovered a petty thief in his home instead of a superpowered little girl not wearing nearly enough clothes for her age. When the thief glances around, he'll find Diamond standing in the corner of the room, casually swirling his glass of wine. Watching.]
