Part of the appeal of the (under)age difference kink, as in legal-aged characters being involved with those that are underage, is how absolutely taboo and fucked up it is in most cultures. Romance is nice, but let's be honest; it's messed up, even if there is a romantic element. And that's what makes it fun. This meme is for nitty, gritty, not always pretty side of underage. You can play the psychological angles of both sides, whether their actions makes the older party tormented for their decision, and all the filthy, dirty, guilty, and sexy facets this kink can offer.
But my character is a good dude and would never _____! Well, you can always say it's a moment of weakness, they didn't think, aliens made them do it, emotions made them do it - or say fuck it, it's a meme. Make them feel guilty about it later.
But my character is underage and I want them to be the older party. Age them up or play against someone younger.

[It wasn't smart to dawdle outside their safehouse. The longer a tall, strange scarecrow of a man like him hung around and drew attention to himself, the bigger the odds that someone might pay more attention to him than necessary and start asking questions, or remember him when people came by to ask if they'd seen nything suspicious lately. He knows that. He's not dumb.
That's why he's dawdling outside their apartment door instead, a full grocery bag dangling from his hand as he breathes in and out, in and out, desperately scrambling for a plan or approach or... anything that'll make this moment less awkward than he knows it'll be.
In hindsight it doesn't seem so strange. Robin was... strong. Stronger than he'd given her credit for, too strong to rely on him as just a protector, a guard and shield- a tall, scraggly-haired teddy bear to protect her from the monsters under the bed and in her head. That a girl like her would be so willing to tolerate his presence in the same room she slept in, let him help her arrange her hair and buy her, well... hygiene articles... perhaps he should have guessed. Perhaps it shouldn't have come as such a surprise when he'd taken a quick nap after staying up far too late planning their next move, and woke up to having Robin curled up next to him on the couch, her head on his shoulder and her arms around his.
But it had. And about the only thing he could be pleased with was that he had the calm and rational reaction of sitting stock still and wait for however long it took for her to wake up, then pretend to be asleep until she had removed herself.
She had stayed curled up against him for ten minutes. It had been the longest ten minutes of his life. And now he just had no clue what to do with himself, besides finally open the door and try to pretend that most of this morning hadn't even happened...]
