AFTER THE 'O' MEME

i. fantastic!
That was everything you thought it would be and then some. You are more than willing to go again and again and again... after you catch your breath! And maybe enjoy some nice cuddling with a nap.
ii. what did we just do?
What you did was entirely impulsive. You didn't think things through and you really hope you didn't mess things up. You're so nervous, you don't even know what to do! It's hard to just relax and enjoy the moment when you want to freak out so bad.
iii. that was okay.
One of you didn't reach the finish mark before the other or the chemistry just wasn't there. Whatever the case is, you have to either let the other know or pretend it was fabulous. Totally! Or at least reassure them it happens to everyone.
iv. aftercare.
In the BDSM sense, aftercare is the process of attending to the intense feelings that come after a session that can range from exhilaration to depression. Kiss, cuddle and pamper your sub.
v. let's not talk about this.
This was a total mistake. You should not have touched that person. Maybe you hate them or maybe it's just wrong for any number of other reasons. Whatever the case is, you need to both swear to just never discuss it.

Maybe what you did wasn't entirely consensual, but they totally wanted it. You know they did, you could read it in their face. Maybe you just didn't care and took what you wanted instead.

[ He flinches under the touch. ]

Yes Stiles. In case you haven't noticed, you're still a minor.

[ Glaring at the teen because clearly he's not grasping the severity of the situation. ]

Panicking now isn't going to help anything. [at least he didn't roll his eyes.

He squeezes Derek's shoulder before letting go.] And also, my dad isn't supposed to be make until early tomorrow. So he's not going to shoot you.

[ He kind of wish the Sheriff would anyways, if only to give Derek the excuse to pretend he's off dying somewhere. ]

That's not the issue! The issue is that I should have known better! [ But Stiles had just been there and he smelt nice and one thing just unfolded into another and now they were both here, like this. ]

You can either yell the entire night, or we can have a calm reasonable discussion about this. Personally, I'm in favor of reasonable discussion, but ya know, up to you.

[ He breathed out annoyance, and directed his stare back to the ceiling. ]

What else is there to discuss?

[ He hesitates, harshness shoved aside as he breathes out and forces himself to calm down. ]

[ Derek suddenly feels like he's about five years old again and his mom caught him doing something he should have known not to do. ]

[ There were emotions itching at his belly, screaming the truth but he was too afraid to voice them. The last time he had, it had led to destruction. He wasn't ready to open his old wounds so he could apply new ones on top. ]

[Stiles doesn't lift his hand, it's still sitting on Derek's shoulder]

I'm not lying either, Derek. [And now he'll maneuver one of Derek's hands to his heart] You can tell when I am, right? I care about you.

[ His hand tensed, feeling Stiles' heartbeat as if it were his own. ]

I know.

And I don't want to hurt you. [His heartbeat stays steady] Definitely don't want to see you dead.

People do crazy things. You might find yourself having to choose.

But I'm not right now. [And besides that, Stiles only has three people on the short list of people he cares about, including Derek.] I'm resourceful, I could find a way out.

[ He glances down to their hands, breathing out soft and small. ]

[His heart is steady and sure. There's no hint of a lie there, or in his words.]

Yeah, actually. I do.

[ His own breath was calming as was his mind, but there were still questions, plenty of questions that were best left unanswered for now. ]

And if this doesn't work out?

Then we'll move on. There don't have to be hard feelings.

[ He takes a deep breath. ]

Mm, that's better than before. Guess I'll have to take it. [Now he lets go of Derek's hand.]

[ He spread's his fingers across Stiles' chest once he lefts go, as if searching for something he can't quite grasp. ]
