[His happy smile just made her heart beat so fast.]

It's not too much?

I've never been more sure of anything in my life.

[Which is probably hormones talking, but it's true that he really likes her a lot. Smiling, he takes her hands in his, giving them a little squeeze.]

All of this... it's been like a dream, Velvet.

[Seeing him so happy honestly fills Velvet up so much. Squeezing her hands, she slowly leans in then for another kiss.]

[The first kiss was unexpected, but this time Jaune's able to prepare himself. Closing his eyes, he leans forward to meet her lips with his own, kissing back tenderly.]

[While she was too nervous to touch his bare torso, Velvet does manage to take his hands in hers and squeeze them. For as bad as he was with pick up lines and general, all around hitting on girls, Jaune was really a tender boy.]

[That's okay, because after a few moments Jaune lifts Velvet's hands and places them atop his chest as he continues to kiss her back. Right now, she's the only girl he wants to hit on.]

[Like she thought, Velvet's eyelids fluttered open when she felt the cool flesh of Jaune's chest.

But... he did place her hand there. He obviously wanted her to touch him. Maybe?

Gently, she ran her fingers up and down his toned chest, finally closing her eyes again in the kiss.]

[Jaune simply nods as she starts to move her fingers along his chest, taking his own hands and placing them on her sides as he draws her closer, deepening the kiss that much more.]

Her hands get a bit shaky along his skin as he touched her waist and pulled her closer. His passion was also getting overwhelming with Velvet's skin growing hot.

Still kissing, her hands travel to his shoulders where she continued to massage him.]

[They're locked in a heated kiss and several articles of clothing have been shed, so Jaune would definitely characterize this as making out. He's getting so into it by now that he has to break the kiss briefly to catch his breath again, and it's punctuated with a pleasurable groan as she starts to rub his shoulders.]

Mmmm... Velvet...

[Her name tumbles from his lips hot and heavy as he moves one hand to move it along her long legs, the other reaching up to gently caress one of her rabbit ears. He'd been wondering if she's sensitive there, and now seems as good a time as any to find out.]

[She's sensitive, but maybe not in the way he expects.

Breaking away, Velvet's eyes are relaxed shut and her mouth is twisted in a funny little smile. Even her hands massaging him stop as the only movement she can manage is rubbing her head against his hand.]

[Oh my god, that's adorable. Jaune can't help but let out a little chuckle as he keeps stroking her ear, still working his other hand along her leg.]

Velvet, you're so beautiful.

[And while he's petting her ear, he leans in to plant some kisses along her neck.]

[His touch and words were a lot for Velvet's already overwhelmed senses and she couldn't help the whimper that escaped her lips.
Not of pain or fear, this whimper had some pretty obvious implications.]

[Jaune heard that whimper loud and clear, and despite his inexperience, he can guess what it means. Still, he doesn't want to mess things up by being too bold, so he leans over to whisper into Velvet's ear as he lets up for a moment on the kissing.]

...Should I keep going?

U-uh...

...maybe-maybe not right now? I like the kissing, but, um, I...

[She's not even sure if they're talking about the same thing.]

Okay.

[He nods, drawing both his hands back for a moment as he leans back to catch his breath, looking ever so slightly apologetic. Things were starting to get a little hot and heavy there for a second.]

We can slow things down. I don't want to do anything you're not comfortable with.

[An almost unbelievable phrase to come out of the mouth of notorious flirt and horndog Jaune Arc, but he's not so given over to his hormones that he doesn't know there are lines you don't cross with a girl you care about.]

[Biting her lip, she sits on her heels and moves closer to play with Jaune's hair.]

Maybe, um, maybe another time we can plan it out. And I can wear something you like.
And I can take care of you.

[Again, she's hoping they're talking about the same thing because this conversation has her bright red.]

[They are absolutely talking about the same thing. Jaune's face lights right up at her offer, accompanied by an enthusiastic nod.]

Yeah! Anytime! I mean, uh, whenever you're ready for it!

[He's glad they talked that part out before things got too awkward. And if she's making the offer herself and still wants to touch him, he feels like things turned out okay.]

You're a really special girl, Velvet. So I want to make sure I do things right.

[Smiling at her, he takes one of her hands in his own and lifts it to his lips for a chaste kiss.]

(OOC: I'd absolutely be up for a sequel smut thread with these two sometime if you want! This has all been really cute. :3)

[With the other, she covered her face and hunched her shoulders. No matter how he felt, she'd consider him quite the hero.]
