[It's surprising what a little travel can do for one's opinion of another person. Jessica wouldn't call herself friendless but she certainly wasn't an easy woman to get along with. Through the course of her first journey she had learned acceptance from her companions and even what it was like to fall in love. Then had come traveling with first Yangus, then Angelo and Jessica had learned traveling one on one with someone else like that changed opinions as well.

Now she was impatient. It had been several months since her last world-hopping trip and she had found her yearning for travel once again. She and Angelo had discussed the idea briefly before parting and agreed to meet several months later once each of them had tied up some personal business. An exchange of letters had lead to an agreement to meet on the docks at Port Prospect. Where they would go beyond that would be decided as they traveled and Jessica claimed she chiefly wanted to travel helping others where they could. And that was the truth really, beyond the myriad of other reasons she had for wanting to meet with him again.

Now she stood waiting, a hand pressed to her cheek and a slight frown resting on her lips. She knew very well what she ultimately wanted with this trip and if she could find the words between moments of heated frustration with the man, she was going to speak her mind and be done with it no matter what the outcome.]

Now here he was making his way to Port Prospect after another letter from Jessica to remind him of their discussion they'd had before departing. Today had to be the day, he needed to tell her his feelings and nothing was going to stop him.

Upon arriving at the port, Angelo decided to come up from behind her and attempt to sneak one of his arms around her. Part of him also wondered if she'd notice or smack him in the face the moment he did it.]

[He can't help but laugh at her, this was only the response he half expected from the likes of Jessica. He then takes her one hand near him into his for fond kisses. Once he's done that, he pulls away.]

But you didn't, darling. [He continues appearing smug.] I do apologize for keeping you waiting.

[She has half a mind to complain about the wait but honestly she hadn't been there too long. So instead the redhead takes a moment to huff gently.]

You didn't hear any rumors on the boat during your travel over, did you? I've been keeping an ear open for anything interesting. It would be nice to do a bit of exploring again after all.
