Team Tension Ideally, a team works like a well-oiled machine, with all the cogs existing in harmony. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that two team members hating each other could easily lead to disaster. But have you ever considered the consequences of two team members liking each other...too much? Love or attraction can be a dangerous force, even when you're on the same side. Can you both be professional? Or is this a reason somebody needs to make a "no intra-team dating" rule? "Team" is pretty loose here. Superhero team, sports team, debate team, #squadgoals, I don't care. Just comment with your preferences and reply to others.

[She's been working for Jack for a few months now, at the request of the Doctor. Working at Torchwood is fun and exciting, especially once she gets past the phase where she exists to be Jack's errand runner. Getting to help out on actual jobs and missions is something she excels at, even if she's not sure how long she'll be sticking around in the end. She supposes that doesn't really matter, because whatever mission the Doctor is on has seen him gone for months, and she's adapted to her new job rather well.

So well that she's found herself a bit taken with one of the team, a fact that she's sure is frowned upon. But when she can sit and have playful banter while assisting with medical procedures or alien autopsies, she figures that it's alright to let herself be attracted. And she thinks he might be too, which doesn't really become an issue until the tension between them develops into something so thick that everyone else around them does whatever they can to keep the two of them working separately.

But they always seem to navigate toward one another, and Clara's perfectly content for their to be plenty of flirting that doesn't go anywhere. Or at least she thinks she is, until they're in the middle of a late night filing session. He's stayed to work with her, and they're in the middle of laughing about a joke he's just told when she leans in to kiss him. They're both supposed to be at ready just in case they're called out to help on a hostile retrieval job some of the others are on and she knows they shouldn't be distracted, but they've been so good at keeping things professional for months now. A few stolen minutes won't hurt anything.

That first kiss is far too brief due to her not wanting to cross a line she shouldn't, and as she pulls back she gives him a sheepish look.]

We can pretend I didn't just do that, if you like.

Problem was-- she was her team leader. It seemed like a conflict of interest given their studies. Plus, what about Yatsu and Fox?
