He's medicated for ADD of course, which means his routine is the word of god and so help him if you interrupt his studying for anything short of a zombie apocalypse (which is completely unrealistic by the way and will never actually happen in reality so pretty much just don't interrupt him).]

[ In a city as small as this, when Goodnight Robicheaux walked in, people noticed. People whispered and stole glances filled with awe. It was often "Yes sir, Mr. Robicheaux" or "Your drink is on the house, Mr. Robicheaux." He usually took it in stride, a nod of thanks here, a brief quirk of his lips upwards there. Depending on his mood and how calm he was feeling, sometimes he spun stories and shared laughs. But they were never stories about his time in the military. He never spoke about what had happened overseas in Afghanistan. He had returned to his rancher roots, and the stories he enjoyed telling had to do with that. Well, that, women, or something funny his quiet best friend had done recently.

He looks the part of the rancher and cowboy, too from the hat on his head to the boots on his feet. He only orders a simple coffee, black, his usual drink. While he doesn't come in every day, able to make his own coffee on the ranch, he had taken Billy's advice to get out more.

His coffee is on the house today, and after he gives the young, female barista an easy, smooth smile and tip of his hat, he wonders off to find a table.

He's seen the red-haired woman there before, but she'd never looked the sort to fancy conversation with a stranger over coffee. But this time, he sits just one small, round table over. Taking off his hat, he tries to catch her eye and give her a friendly smile. ]

Nice day for a hot cup of coffee, wouldn't you say? [ And the weather had turned cool outside, definitely fall. ]

When she had first found the place she appreciated the quality of coffee and the fact that it was small, quiet and close to Central Park. And then he started working here and suddenly its popularity boomed and Uhura had to leave her apartment half an hour early just to be ready to wait in line for one cup of coffee.

If she had any sense at all she really had to consider changing coffee shops, but the idea of working her way back through finding that perfect bean to start her morning was exhausting.

She paused mid-sentence, tilting the phone away as she finally made it to the counter and gave her barista nemesis a tight smile. ]

[ Here is Izuminokami Kanesada, relegated to coffee pickup duty for the very first time. Thankfully for him, Kunihiro's gone through the trouble of writing down each office member's drink choice on a piece of paper, so all he has to do is read it out loud to the barista. It's so simple, that even a child can follow it, and yet... he's never done this before. After all, Kunihiro has always ordered his drinks for him. "You'll be fine on your own, Kane-san!" he'd said, earlier today. Obviously, he lied.

So he's squinting through the list as if it's written in a foreign language. Luckily for him, this is an hour where the coffeeshop is far less crowded than usual, and there's no line behind him. Which means that he's not holding anyone up with his horrible drink ordering skills. ]

If he was a different sort of guy he’d ask some sort of polite question like if Horikawa was handling the lunch rush well or how the other guys like Kashuu holding up on 5th and Pike.

He wasn’t that guy, though.

He was in the process of immediately making a Russian Roulette mocha (chili powder, cinnamon, and chocolate) for his unexpected guest as the store was in a rare lull so he could do these things #yolo]
