[On second thought, this could definitely be worse.

Not that being transported to god-knows-what remote location with an unsuspecting Plus One was good, but when otherworldly tech gave you lemons there was nothing to do but make-- lemonade, or sell the lemons, or plant a lemon tree (shrub??)-- whatever. Point was

Tim had absolutely no clue where they were, and his head was kind of buzzing, and the night's black in that outback or deepwoods kind of way and it takes him a second (literal second) to realize he's on his ass, sitting in dirt. He scrambles up (grace...fully-ish), and realizes belatedly he'd freaked at the thought of spiders crawling on him. --nope, not gonna dwell on it.

Because he's got his costume and he really had to get his head back in the game. The earpiece is giving him nothing but static and Tim fights back a disgruntled little noise starting to bubble up in the back of his throat. He's frowning. At nothing. Honestly. But that's a Lantern he knows just a short distance away and Tim has to wonder if the guy can see him scowling in his general direction. Doesn't matter.

The Lantern's a good guy.

Tim knows that, can recall some old muddled memory of him.

He knows that, Once Upon A Time, there was this... huge mess with the Lanterns. It's unfair to pin it on the one guy ahead. He knows that too. Doesn't stop the slight hesitance to--

to what?

Oh and now it's raining (lightly drizzling, same. thing.) and his head's still swimming (pun not intended) and as far as Tim can tell his tech is fucked and he doesn't want to ask for help but Jesus Christ, Drake, just suck it up.

Which incidentally means a Red Robin growl in the darkness, but. God. Whatever.]
