Len knew better than to interfere with Sara when she was enjoying herself in a bar fight, so he hung back for the moment, sipping his beer and waiting for her cue to jump in. He had to admit, it was quite entertaining to watch her take out a room full of drunks, even without her weapons. Men usually underestimated the petite blonde, and quickly paid the price for it, falling in clumsy piles over barstools and tables.

"Let me know when you've had enough fun," he called out, a bemused smile on his lips.

When he tells this story later and it begins with “But I didn't throw the first punch...maybe”, it's probably going to cause an entirely separate fight. It's definitely going to cause an entirely separate fight because 'flying under the radar' is not equivalent with probably not throwing the first punch. It's also not equivalent to inserting herself into the situation when she could have just extracted him, but one of the 'gentlemen' involved had decided to slap her ass and tell her she needed to get back before she got hurt. She doesn't even mean to, it's just an instant reaction, and a split second later her legs are around the guy's neck and he finds himself flat on the ground with the wind knocked out of him.

For a moment that stops everything and Natasha attempt to look subdued and like she has no idea that happened, but the smirk on her lips when she looks down at the man who's making something of a wheezing sound while calling her a bitch gives her away. She isn't sorry. Or subdued. Speaking of which, she looks up at Bucky then with an expression of The fuck? “Did you start this?” her voice is almost accusing—almost because there is an edge under it of excitement. This is why you didn't send two super assassins out together, both with questionable grasps on reality (and morality).

[sure, him and Boss have been sleeping together for awhile, and it's been great. regular sex, and with his best friend, so things never get weird? it's possibly one of the best fuck buddy arrangements Kaz has had in his entire life. but there hasn't been a commitment made, and beyond that Boss doesn't own him, so Kaz feels absolutely no guilt about striking up conversation with every attractive woman in the joint. besides, even if Boss is going to be an ass about it, it's not like Kaz has touched the merchandise. he's just window-shopping.]

[he's in the middle of impressing a brunette with his considerable grasp of Spanish when what is apparently her boyfriend stalks over, shoves him in the chest, and tells him to get the hell off his girl. 'hey, she can make her own choices,' Kaz replies, 'and if she wants to spend some quality time with me, maybe it's because she doesn't like you all that much--']

[--which is apparently the wrong thing to say, because he gets punched in the jaw. and honestly, that's it. if this guy wants a fight, fine, Kaz is happy to kick his ass. but as he trades punches with the possessive asshole, thing slowly start to spin out of control in the way that barfights often do. everyone is fighting now. it's a small riot. there are chairs being thrown everywhere. and here Kaz is in the center of it, trying and failing to choke out the asshole who hit him in the first place.]

[So maybe it's somewhere in Alaska or somewhere under the radar but wherever this bar is there's a woman just trying to mind her business; clearly not from around here but trying her damnedest to look like she is. She's fairly tall, blonde hair tucked into the back of a worn brown leather jacket that fits her snug. The collar is popped and she's sporting aviators that do a good job of keeping her eyes dark and hidden, left on even in the hazy dim lighting of the bar. The jeans and boots are a little less fitting, maybe one size too big. The initials on the belt buckle aren't hers.

She orders a scotch and keeps her gaze directed at the small TV playing local news stories. It's nothing interesting. She's not really listening. It's only when two other bar patrons start speculating about a shooting star they saw the night before does her posture subtly shift and still. She works the scotch slower. One guy goes on about how low it was, how orange it was, how it must have crash landed somewhere in the woods. The other guy tells him he must have been drunk--there wasn't a loud sound. A bang, for sure, maybe, who knows, but it was probably something else!

The conversation derails and the blonde woman slouches in her seat, attention seemingly elsewhere. For now, it's quiet. She only wonders how long that will last.]
