[Really, all she had wanted was a cocktail and some pizza, and when she found the Stray Sheep it had seemed like divine providence. She'd taken a booth near the back, just looking around while she waited for her food and drink-- that redheaded server had up and disappeared on her, she swore.

Of course, from where she's sitting, she can't help but notice the man two booths down looking nothing short of baffled. It's hard not to notice these things.]

[It seemed like such a nice club, all dim lights and loose gauze hanging from the ceiling and throbbing music, and though she wasn't much of a dancer, she could still hang back and watch all the beautiful people with her drink in hand.

Except there must have been something in that last fruity drink, because now that bass is thudding through the little booth she's in and up her legs and settling in between her legs, and she finds herself watching these soft-focus dancers, looking for... for something; she can't really think of what, but she'll know it when she sees it.]

It's rather lonely if you come to such a place by yourself and don't try to enjoy it, don't you think? Still, you're looking a lot more lively than you were before walking in.

[And at the corner table with nothing but a book and a glass of red wine with him, the red magician will be offering a small smile at his comrade that is a fair distance between them. And there is something about that charm of hers that makes him feel so relaxed around with than other people.]

E-Eh? [She turns to him-- and immediately her mouth goes a little dry, her pulse speeds up. What is going on? She feels... not disconnected, but deeply connected to herself... and to the mage across the table.

It's making her feel out of it, but she shakes her head and tries to act normal.] N-No, not at all. I'm just... looking around. [Whew...] Is it warm in here to you? [She fans herself, and takes a sip of her drink, which only serves to heighten the reaction.] There's... there's a lot of atmosphere here.

[He rises a hand up to beacon her over to join him to close the distance between them, and... well... a more private company with such an out of element place as this for him. He does take another sip of his wine to sample the taste again, although ever since he had ordered this particular one, he couldn't help flush a bit somewhat... and really, at this point, it was getting hard to take his gaze off of the woman more and more.] Mn. It is quite warm, actually. Although, I do believe it has been getting warmer thanks to a lot of activity going on. Perhaps it's just faulty equipment in the bar... or the tension is getting bigger and harder. So yes, the atmosphere might be the case.

[And then another drink, followed with a bit more of a flushed face. Whether it's from alcohol intolerance, or a possible 'addition' to the wine is up to debate.] As for why I'm here, I like a little bit more privacy here. Less prying eyes, the more pleasing the private company can be appreciated uninterrupted, don't you think?

When she finally parsed it out, she grinned and rested an elbow on the table, looking up at him with lidded, not-exactly-sleepy eyes; while her Charm wasn't really doing much, her conventional charm was on full-blast, and not even she could precisely pinpoint why.]

Kuzuki! Yeah, there wasn't a lot to do, but this place seemed-- seems-- interesting. More interesting than the Cygnus, anyway. Did they get you settled in, too? Say what you want about those Realmlines, but they definitely know how to appease inconvenienced customers.

Jem was lost. She wasn't sure how she had become separated from the others, but she had. A slight frown covered her face as she made her way into the bar. Not only had she become separated from the Holograms, but she also had something slipped into her drink. As she sipped, her frown changed into a smile and she slowly looked much more approachable.
