[ Regulus is bright. He is, in fact, one of the brightest wizards around - although he'll tell you differently these days. The young wizard that figured out the Dark Lord's fail-safe and brought it to light, the only wizard close enough and smart enough to, knows enough. Knows well enough that Remus Lupin is ill every month like clockwork. Can't come see him or be seen because of it. He knows that it lasts very nearly a week. He also knows that it always, always falls around the full moon.

There are very few options for what this can mean.

He runs through a lot of emotions about it. Hurt, anger, bitterness, understanding. Not once does he feel fear or hatred. He knows better. He understands why Remus would keep it a secret, but he still can't align it with how close they've become. So it loops back to hurt.

He tries to wait for the right time but really, when is a good time? Certainly not when they're meant to just be spending time together, relaxing and chatting and maybe sharing some affections. Definitely sharing some affections. Rather than sitting next to Remus however he moves directly to sit astride his lap, wincing just the once from shifting his leg. Still: there he is, perched delicately atop him like it's nothing. He knows Remus can easily move him, but also that he won't. ]

Remus. [ It's soft like they're conspirators and he punctuates it with a light kiss. Barely there. ] I've been thinking a lot lately.

[ That could be very bad or very good, depending. He lets his arms curve around his neck though, looking him in the eye. They're about on even ground like this and the way he's still being openly affectionate is a good sign. When he speaks again, it's very clear that he knows something and is giving Remus an out to tell him without trying to hide it further. ]
