Mostly because I'm surprised we've never had this kind of meme before. We love high school AUs. We love romance. Why not combine those into a glorious mix?

Your teen years are important, formatively speaking. You're trying to find out just where you belong and what kind of person you're going to be. This already daunting task is complicated by the soul-sucking demon known as high school. If you weren't having a hard time before coming here, you certainly are now.

Add into this mixture raging hormones, and baby, you've got a misery stew cooking. But it's not all bad! Sometimes high school crushes can be sweet, and the occasional high school relationship lasts.

So whether you're too cool or distracted for romance or always on to the next good looking stud, come on down and try to navigate the romantic labyrinth that is the halls of Bakerstreet High.

HOW TO PLAY

• Comment with your character and preferences. Needless to say, aging down and AUing is welcomed and probably necessary. Have fun with it! Feel free to include a short blurb about your character's Bakerstreet High self. Are they popular? The class clown? A drifter? A band geek?

Janet loved her job. While she was a guidance councilor and not a fully-fledged teacher, being able to support and guide young minds as they began to mature was an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding task.

And while that was the entirety of her job description, it wasn't where Janet stopped. She knew that the teenage years were a sexual awakening, especially for boys, and that the kids under her tutelage could often feel lost in the sea of new thoughts and feelings. While no one had asked her to do it, she thought it was her duty to provide a raft to help her students survive in these seas.

One such metaphorical sailor was Sena Kobayakawa, a member of the high school football team who was always incredibly sweet and helpful to the guidance councilor. In fact, Janet decided it was long past time she reward this young man. For the past week she had been wearing shorter and tighter skirts, bigger high heels, and the top few buttons of her blouse had gone unbuttoned. She had been sure to give Sena a show, frequently dropping pens that she had to bend over to pick up, barely brushing her hands over his shoulders, and sometimes 'accidentally' leaning in so that her breasts would brush over his arm.

Once she was sure she had stirred the pot enough, it was time to taste the broth.

She had called Sena to her office one day after classes had ended and she was sure most students and teachers were either gone or on their way out the door. Once Sena arrived, she favored him with a huge smile. Her sleeveless blouse had a record number of buttons undone today, showing off a very generous view of her cleavage, and she had painted her nails red the day before. Most young men found painted nails attractive in a woman, which made this easier. Honestly, manipulating the emotions of sexually frustrated teenage boys was so easy she almost felt bad. Almost.

Besides, she didn't think of it as manipulation. It was more... guidance.

"Thank you for coming Sena," she smiled. "Please lock the door behind you. We have a lot to discuss today and I don't want to be interrupted."
