[Something with a strange girl who shows up wherever she's needed to give really weird tech goodies for a job? Her age (early 20s) and appearance could also be she's the odd one out to isolate to try to find out more about the weird shit that seems to go down whenever she or her fellow Warehouse people show up.

It was something of a feat, keeping the lengthy explanation as calm and free of emotion as he could while Legolas dressed, though there was nothing that even Artemis could do to hide the strained tone behind the words. More so to keep more caustic words at bay as he spoke, bitter feelings for the entire situation they had found themselves in that were better swallowed down and saved for another time; with a deep, steadying breath, he tried to lock the thoughts away, and instead focused on the sight of the elf on the other side of the inn room.

A plain tunic, plain trousers, plain cloak. Drab colors, unassuming; Legolas still wore them as well as he wore everything else, a trait that Artemis couldn't help finding as admirable as he found it disconcerting. It would do for their purposes, at least.

And then there was the collar.

Artemis glared hatefully at the thick strip of heavy leather in his hand. He could remember too well how he had narrowly escaped from this very life as a boy, and how he almost lost much more than just his childhood. It didn't matter that now, it was merely a ruse. Gloved fingers tightened harshly around the collar, disgust welling up within him to have anything to do with the cursed thing at all, necessary or no.

A disgust that didn't fade as he looked up at Legolas, and gave a curt gesture to turn around so that Artemis could fit it around his neck and buckle it in place. For a man that could so easily school his emotions, it was difficult to keep in check the anger that simmered too close to the surface. Had there been any other way to proceed, he would have grabbed at it in an instant.

But the ruling class of Thay enforced strict laws, and within the enclaves housing their lucrative slave trade they were stricter still. Being allowed entry as anything other than a slave master himself would be nearly impossible, he knew.

Legolas had agreed to idea, true, but Artemis knew the elf was as pleased with the situation as he was. And a hot rush of anger sang through the assassin's veins at the thought of his companion having to pretend to be anything less than the powerful, confident man that he was. Worse still, knowing how the filth conducting their business safely behind these walls would look at the two of them, how they would look at Legolas-

"I can't promise that I won't try to kill at least one person while we're here."

He had to stop that line of thought there. His hands itched for his dagger enough as it was, a part of him calling out for blood before they'd even stepped foot into the enclave. His own personal code of honor dictated that he wouldn't take a life that didn't deserve oblivion, but sometimes...

"I also can't promise that this won't be disgraceful," he added after several moments, giving the elf a look that was as discontent as it was apologetic. And though his next words were intended to be light, the strain behind them was all too clear. "But promise you'll refrain from killing me for this until after we find and return girl."

[Jio wondered how he had been roped into this whole mess. Right he remembered now. The shit stain of a father of his had broken out of prison and he had been asked to help get him back where he belonged despite not being a hero or even studying to be one. Well he had information that could be of use due to his unfortunate relation. He rather not have it, but he couldn't really do much about it. And it would not be enough to simply tell what he knew either. Considering that his father most likely would be hiding out with his old gang and they would not just let anyone in. He however wasn't anyone and one other would be safe to take with him if they could just seem bad enough.]

I really do hope that you can play a convincing villain in the making or we both might end up dead. And don't use your quirk without one hell of a good reason, we are on our way into a den of demons.

[Jio pulled his car to a stop, looking out the window. He had not visited this town for years now, not since his father had been imprisoned. He heaved a deep sigh. The people here had not been treating him well once his father had been taken out of the picture and he had a feeling that they still had not forgiven his crimes. Their anger had probably just been woken up anew by this mess. He heaved another deep sigh, stepping out of the car. The only thing to do was to get this shit over with.]
