Is it puppy love? Soul mates? Are you in love with a Muggle? A Muggle in love with a wizard? 9. HAND ME A GLASS LET THE BUTTERBEER FLOW You need to go shopping! Or drinking. Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, Hogsmeade trips... Find anything and everything you want. If you go to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, make sure you don't get busted by a teacher with your goodies. 8. [ Jack couldn't stand her at first. Maybe it's because she was a Gryffindor, and he, Brock, and the rest of their friends were in Slytherins. He couldn't get why she wanted to hang out with them, and he's not one to trust or open up easily, so while the others may've eased up around Natasha, Jack tended to bite his tongue until she was out of earshot.

Unfortunately, here they are now, alone together in the Shrieking Shack, with a couple of stolen bottles of firewhiskey. The others were supposed to meet them here, but it looks like they got held up somewhere else. They'd better get here soon.

BLOOD STATUS: Half-blood -- father's an old school pureblood wizard who pays for Nico and his sister Bianca's education, but otherwise has no input in their lives, since they're his bastard children with a Muggle woman (who died a couple years before Nico started Hogwarts).
OTHER: Vaguely headcanoning Bianca as a prefect, probably for a different House, but still enough influence to keep the skinny queer halfblood from getting bullied too much. That and Nico's affinity for Dark magic-- *cough* I mean, Defence Against the Dark Arts. Everyone probably finds him a bit creepy, especially for a Hufflepuff. ]

Anakin Solo / Star Wars Legends / OTA

[ Anakin was given a choice between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor by the Sorting Hat; he picked Ravenclaw, despite (or maybe because of) the famed Skywalker history of Gryffindors. He's a 2nd year who loves the quiet of his common room -- he once visited the Gryffindor common room (the twins Jaina and Jacen are, of course, both Gryffindors) and almost froze up at the chaos.

Half-blood -- the Skywalker line is a famed pureblood family, but his mother married a Muggle (who has adapted fairly well to magic, though Han will never be totally comfortable in the wizarding world). His uncle Luke is a teacher at Hogwarts.

Though a bit of a smarty pants scholar, he recently tried out for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team and showed promise as a Chaser. He didn't get a place on the main team, but is a reserve. Classes-wise, his strengths are with wandwork, particularly Charms and Transfiguration. ]

[ Dutch has spent six exciting years at Hogwarts as one of the most promising Gryffindor students and now it is her seventh year. She wants to go out with a bang. She even had the guts to throw her name into the mix for the Triwizard Tournament this year even if she wasn’t chosen to represent her school. No matter. It had taken her exactly one month to learn and master enough hexes and other spells to get even the worst of them off her back. Granted, she'd had to use pure muggle methods on some of the older students. Who knew that most purebloods had never experienced the simple prank of Nair in shampoo. Priceless.

Still, she had a few questions for the good Doctor, well worth possibly being a little late to herbology.
