[ Look, after this she'll keep the map, maybe even put it up on a wall so she can have a memento of this little day trip that they're presumably going to take. And that's why paper maps are amazing.

She pulls her hands back in favor of wrapping her fingers around her cup of coffee and stirring it with a teaspoon as he's looking over the map. ]

There's an outdoor exhibition going on there. Plus, it's springtime, so all the flowers should be in bloom. What do you think?

I think we should attend, [ he says with the ease of a man that knows exactly what his partner expects in reply. It helps that it's the choice he prefers as well.

He stands to take his mug to the sink and leans back against the counter to watch her. Kasumi Goto is a sight he will never tire of seeing. ]

When does it open?

[ It's sweet that he thinks that of her, considering she's probably not entirely presentable at the moment in whatever shirt Duv was wearing yesterday and with her long, black hair down and spilling over her shoulders as she's sipping on the coffee and giving him a sidelong glance. ]

It's been open for a few weeks. I've just been waiting for the right time to go. You know how much it rains around here.

[ His shirt on her and the disheveled look only add to the appeal. It's an appearance he has a feeling he's on a short list of those that have been permitted to see.

He nods and moves to stand by her side, resting one hand on her shoulder as he peers at the map once more. It gives him an easy excuse to be by her. ] Is it an all-hours exhibit? I'm wondering how soon we need to leave.

It should be. [ And even if it wasn't, sneaking them in would be a piece of cake. It would be fun, even. ]

I mean, I think we could stand to benefit from lounging around for another hour or so...

[ And then she gives him a wink, even knowing fully that she and Duv are going to have different interpretations of what "lounging around" means. ]

[ Very different. He's already imagining them relaxing on the couch together, perhaps watching the morning news while they plan the rest of their day before getting ready.

He has a small smile as he moves towards the coffee pot, preparing to brew himself another cup. ]

I'd enjoy that. Would you like another cup?
