① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.

[ the snow fell in a slow, lazy path from the grey sky, and down to the city below, quickly fading against the glare of blurred lights and noise.

a city from above was a fascinating thing; a change of perspective, from walking down the street, interwoven within the absurdity of a leashed society. this instead puts him at a literal distance, a spectator of something that is either infinitely interesting, or infinitely doomed. maybe both.

not that he wanted to be a spectator; he's always made the point of being more than that, but a step back every now and again is useful in gaining perspective.

makishima stood on the roof, heel raised against the parapet and the cold settled around him with the coming snow.

maybe izaya orihara would prove a useful contact in makshima's own machinations. the other man did have a reputation; abettor in his own right. if nothing else, a conversation could prove interesting enough. ]

[Snow wasn't such a big deal to Zakuro normally. It was cold, made her shaky with the shivers and normally being outside for too long usually resulted in her catching a cold a day later. Today though she was outside, wrapped up in warm clothes with a hat over her head that resembled cat ears which where there to provide warmth for her ears and to keep them hidden from view. A puff of air forms over her lips when she breaths out and her purple light eyes glaze over the blanket of snow, fingers tucking the scarf around her neck more.]

Oh.. it's so pretty.. [She was aware of the red seeping into her nose and cheeks from the cold but she ignores it for now, the half-spirit crouching so she could start working on many miniature snowman with fox like appendages from their head.]

Wish the others were here. [She murmurs this out softly as she makes two more of the same animal eared people and she presses little black rocks for eyes and then the mouth. Standing back up onto her feet she stares at the trio of snow people, lips twisting into a soft smile.] Asore~! Am I a flower, a butterfly, or a demon? [She sings this softly to herself, boot covered feet swaying back and forth to a beat only she could hear.] Should I no longer be concerned about my body or this world? What I wield is not a lipstick, but a piercing blade. Would you be so kind as to give me plenty of praise? [She pauses in singing for a moment to huddle into her clothes, hums now leaving her lips.]
