Keep Them Close Smut Meme

You've been assigned, by an outside power or by your own decision, to protect this person and be, essentially, a bodyguard to them. Naturally, you want to keep them close.

But you probably didn't mean to get this close, or protect their body in quite this fashion. Whether it was a temptation from growing to know them so well or part of the plan all along, you're going to sleep with them. Will this be a hurdle to you protecting them...or will this be a new way to take care of them? If it's the former, hopefully you'll be able to disengage and let it be a one-time event.

If it's the latter, consider this: at least it's you having sex with them and not someone else who won't look after their best interests.

There had been hesitation among the Lords when the alliance had been discussed. What need has the King in the North for a slip of a girl from across the sea when he wields the might of the North? What need has he to interfere with the holding of the Iron Throne when Jon Snow has said again and again that the true threat will be coming from above the Wall?

But the girl is a Queen, sailing at the head of the greatest armada ever assembled. And she commands dragons, the power which defeated the Enemy of old. And so if having Daenerys Targaryen reign over Westeros is the price of there being a Westeros when all is said and done, Jon decides to pay gladly, swearing his sword to her: as ally, as advisor, as general, and as de facto Queensguard.

It's not long at all before Jon realizes his loyalties have become rooted in something deeper. It's not long after that when he discovers such feelings are shared, when in the Queen's tent on the eve of battle, he lets the last of his resistance slip and pulls Daenerys into a rough embrace and presses his mouth to hers.

Daenerys knew what she had to offer the Northerners and she knew they could not resist. If the legends of the White Walkers were true, her Dragons would be essential for saving all of Westeros when Winter came at last.

She tried to put her worries for her children into action while the Lords debated, ordering large buildings constructed out of stone where Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal could rest and warm themselves after a long flight - or after waging battle. So few of the mighty Northern Lords dared to approach her sons and she knew they would eventually bend to her whims. However there was one - a bastard - that was unlike the others. He approached her Dragons without fear and caught her attention almost immediately.

As the days passed, she listened to him speak and grew to like him even more. She had left her second husband behind and that had truly been a political marriage rather than one born of love or even lust. Daenerys had no qualms about showing Jon her interest and seeing where and when he would make his next move.

The eve of battle was a perfect time for it. She smiled at the roughness and deepened the kiss, her hands busy divesting him of his clothes. Oh the North was cold - surprisingly so - but she regretted that they had to wear so much in this moment.

Jon couldn't imagine anyone failing to be fascinated by the dragons, but the terror that so many of the people who looked on them held was not something he felt. He understood the reaction, and certainly held a respectful amount of caution when in their presence, but there was something that called him. They were too beautiful, too magnificent to stay away from.

And the same could be said for their mother, and as such Jon could not stay away from her, either.

Indeed if there was any drawback to life in the North, it was that layers of fur and leather and cloth did much to stand in the way of passion. As he busied himself with buckles and straps to help the Queen undress him, Jon smiled wryly.

"I hope you'll find it worth the effort, Your Grace," he said with a smirk.
