[John didn't expect Kenny to take the news that he'd rather not hang out at school all that well, but he took it right in stride, the way he did everything. Maybe he was so used to this part of his life being a secret that making John public, even if they weren't really anything other than a handful of meaningful interactions that were nowhere near being labeled, would have been uncomfortable anyway. He also had Larry, the ever-present best friend, and... John remembered how that went. There's no way he would've wanted anyone coming between he and Bobby, no matter what the context.
Even with that understanding between them, though, John watched Kenny and Larry. He knew they weren't exactly popular, but he'd never taken the time to notice if they were bullied - if they were, public declaration of friendship or none, it was going to stop.
And he did catch a circle forming around them one lunch hour, as it happened, cruel words and insinuations flying about the nature of their friendship. John could hear both of them loudly objecting that it wasn't like that, and more so that they weren't like that, and the nervous tremor in Kenny's voice made him feel sick. Finally, when he heard the very word he'd used in Kenny's presence and upset him so badly with, it was too much; he burst through the circle to stand in front of Larry and Kenny, seething with protective anger.]
Say that again. [The group went silent. John was a wildcard no one wanted added to their schoolyard scrap, not even a whole gang.] I said say that again, asshole. Either do it or piss off.
[Sure enough, the circle of bullies quickly broke off and went their separate ways, at which point John finally let his hands relax out of the fists he'd had clenched at his sides.]

Will someone please hug this sad smol
[Lily Evans is a bundle of affection with red hair and green eyes. Any time Sirius is looking down in her presence - after she starts dating a certain Potter, of course - he must endure her nearly snuggling the life out of him. It's good for him, really. She wants to be a Healer. She should know!]
I'm beginning to think I need to resort to tickling you, Mr. Black.

[Sure, they're on a date, and it's a windy night by the sea, but it is definitely on the unusual side for Emily to suddenly slide her arms around Matt, underneath is jacket, and pull up close to him.]
I'm cold, Matt, [she murmurs against his shirt. It had been much warmer earlier, and she'd forgotten to account for the sea breeze. Oops.]

Cora's never been a sedentary person. Movies aren't her thing. She's always had too much energy that needs burnt out to actually sit for two plus hours. The only reason that she's willing to now is because it's important to Stiles, for some reason. She's not going to pretend that she fully gets it, but she gets that it's an escape. And he wants her to watch with him. They've attempted to watch in the past and it's always involved a lot of getting up to check on things, stretching her legs, and even migrating her spot to watch. Each time she's gotten the gist of what the movies was about, mostly.
This time he's promised none of the dumb horror tropes that lead to her questioning how stupid the characters are during the little bouts that she can stand to sit there. So, she's giving it a shot. She's trying. Even if she can't exactly explain why.
Stiles' house is comfortable, even if she can hear every little thing that happens both inside and outside of the house. That's been part of the reason that she's gotten up in the past. She's determined to make it through a nice chunk of the movie. He can't get annoyed if she gets up to pee, though, so there's at least that. She did take that run, though, even if she's not sure that he was serious about the suggestion, so that has helped, even if she still finds herself making a second round about the kitchen, tidying up after the lasagna (without the salad that she didn't even want in the first place). Cora's not a messy person. She's neat. She cleans up after herself. She's contained.
Making her way into the living room, Cora beelines for the couch, pausing only to sit her phone on the coffee table before sitting down and knowing this means she's got to stay there for a while. "All good." The words are straightforward, but not terse, or angry. Cora's just not a beat-around-the-bush person. Pulling her feet up onto the sofa she scoots around, shifting this way and that to get comfortable. This, also, has become pretty routine in the process. Why he still tries with the movie thing...is definitely beyond her. She's leaving starting the actual movie up to him, though. She can work it, but chooses not to. "Lets do this."
After all, they're watching the movie because he wants to. It's important to him, not her. She's trying, though, which has to count for something.
