How to play

- Post your character with their name and canon in the subject line. You can also give your preferences if you do/don't want to thread anything R-rated or above.
- When replying, go to RNG and roll numbers 1-2 to get a scenario type, then 1-16 to select a scenario.
- Play out that scenario! Please respect others' wishes if they don't want to play out a particular scene.

i. manipulation

01. Mind games. You're messing with this person's head, using whatever you know about them to your advantage. Words are barbs, and everyone has a weakness.
02. Stay close to me. You're not letting this person out of your sight. And you don't care what extreme measures you have to go to in order to do it.
03. Blackmail. You know something and you're not afraid to use it against them. Now they have to do what you want.
04. Love makes you do things. It's because you love them that you're making them do this. If they truly loved you, wouldn't they do as you say?
05. For your own good. It doesn't matter what the other person wants. You know what's best, and you're going to force it on them whether they like it or not.
06. Break you down. You're going to make the other person think they're worthless. Crush their self-esteem, break them until they're entirely helpless.
07. Betrayal. You made a promise, and you broke it. Or perhaps you betrayed this person's trust. It's all part of gaining the upper hand.
08. Lies, lies, lies. Fool the other person with words and you'll have them wrapped around your finger in no time.
09. Sob story. A little bit of emotional manipulation never hurt anyone, right? You're going to use this person's feelings for you against them. Make them feel sorry!
10. In your debt. Look, you saved them. The other person wouldn't be here without you. They should show some gratitude.
11. I need you. You're depending on the other person to do as you say. They're the only one who can help.
12. Turn up the charm. There's nothing like a bit of good old-fashioned flirting to get someone eating out of your hand.
13. Negotiating. There's a bargain to be struck, if only you can find the right words – and the right leverage.
14. For my sake. Why should they do as you say? Because you're the one asking.
15. The truth. It's the thing that hurts most of all.
16. Your choice. Combine any of the above scenarios or choose your own! It's up to you.

01. Pretty little puppet. You can command this person at will. They're a plaything, to do with as you please.
02. You're mine. You own this person, and you're going to make sure they know it.
03. No escape. Maybe you've locked the other person up somewhere, maybe you've got them in chains. Either way, they're not going anywhere.
04. Put in your place. That's it. The other person made one too many caustic comments, got in your way one last time. Now you're going to show them who's boss.
05. Force of strength. Nothing like a good old fashioned brawl to really prove who's stronger.
06. Cornered. Finally, you've got them alone. This is the moment you've been waiting for – and perhaps the moment they've been dreading.
07. Turning the tables. They thought they'd won, but here's your chance! Maybe it's time to give them a taste of their own medicine, or maybe you have a new trick up your sleeve.
08. Punishment. The other person has done something wrong, or maybe just something you don't like. Now you're going to punish them.
09. Back and forth. I have a laser gun! Well, I have a lightsaber! Whatever it is, you're closely matched and trying to outdo each other.
10. Make them beg. You hold all the power and whatever it is they want or need, you're going to make them beg for it.
11. Call my bluff. You're making claims you can't back up. Can you bluff your way out of this, or will the other person catch on?
12. Time to pay. The other person owes you, and it's time for them to pay up.
13. Show of dominance. You're not actually going to hurt this person. You're just going to show them that you could.
14. The most precious thing. Whatever is most important to the other person, you're going to take it away. Because you can.
15. Consequences. You warned them. They failed, and now they're going to pay the price.
16. Your choice. Combine any of the above scenarios or choose your own! It's up to you.

"Damn you, Eliot! That's not what I mean!" Lindsey glared up at his brother, but watched him instead of getting up to chase him down. "Opening your mouth to tell me you understand, a promise you won't go running of. All that would've been nice!"

Eliot turned back to his brother. "I already told you I understand!"

At that point Lindsey went completely quiet and just watched Eliot silently. When he finally spoke, it was a question asked calmly, though his hands were rested over the riding crop on his lap.

"Why did you leave this morning?"

[retrieverchef]

"I..." Eliot paused, almost choking on his words. Because he couldn't admit to his twin why he'd needed to get away from the tent. "I already told you. I wanted have breakfast ready when you woke up and you still don't stock your kitchen."

In a sudden move, Lindsey took up the riding crop and smashed it against his desk hard enough to create a light dent on the table's edge. "That's crap and you know it! That may be what you were doing, but I asked you why."

Eliot gave Lindsey a look. He was never good at talking about this sort of thing. Then he shrugs and looks away. "Needed to get out."

Lindsey stared back. His look was just as good as Eliot's if not better, he practiced it on worst people than Eliot had. However, he frowned when Eliot looked away.

"Nightmares?"

Eliot shrugged. "Kinda. I needed to move. I might not be claustrophobic anymore but I need more than just two rooms to move around in."

"You can't," Lindsey answered with a sigh. He really wasn't trying to be unreasonable, and he showed by putting the crop down. "Not yet anyway. Tell me and I'll go out with you."

[retrieverchef]

"You were asleep," Eliot retorted, turning back to Lindsey. "Which isn't surprising since I woke you up last night."

Lindsey didn't mention that he was kept up as well.

"If you had waited until after I woke up, this could have been avoided," Lindsey said back crossly. But he didn't look royally pissed anymore.

Pfft... Lindsey kept himself up. That wasn't Eliot's fault.

[retrieverchef]

"And what did you expect me to do while I waited, tear the tent down while I tried to climb the walls?" he retorted, frustration clear in every line of his body. "I was goin' crazy, Linds."

Because of Eliot though! So it still is!

Lindsey continued watching his twin. "Eli..." Lindsey sighed and pulled a face. "At the best I can try to get you an authorized pass to let you get out of here on my errands. But that can expose you to more trouble than you're ready to deal with."

Still Lindsey's choice! So it's not.

Eliot stopped pacing and looked at his twin. "I'm used to trouble, Linds. But sometimes I need to get outta here."

He wouldn't need to make this choice if it wasn't for Eliot! So it is.

"I'm not talking about the type you can punch your way out of." Lindsey frowned, looking perfectly serious.

"You running around so soon on your own, without even a sign of injury, will case gossip. Rumors will spread."

Eliot never asked to be tortured and raped. Neither time. Not his fault.

[retrieverchef]

"Rumors?" Eliot asked, unable to believe his ears. "There's always rumors around here."

Not asked didn't mean the events aren't surrounding him. Therefore, his fault.

"Not rumors that you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing!" Lindsey leveled a cool gaze on Eliot although it wasn't dangerous, not yet anyway. "I will not be seen as incompetent. Remember that."

Not his fault. Moreau's fault.

"What do you want from me, then?" Eliot asked, hanging his head. "You know I wouldn't do anything to risk you. You're all I have left."

Lindsey's not going to go blame Moreau for his lack of sleep! ... well, he might.

Seeing Eliot deflate had Lindsey deflating too.

"I'm asking you to be patient. If you're really going stir crazy, tell me and I'll try to accompany you out." He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Yes, even if it's in the middle of the night and I'm asleep. I'd rather be waken up by you for that than wake up in the morning to find you in another beast cage being beaten."

Lindsey dropped his hand and looked at Eliot. "Do we have an understanding?"

Eliot nodded slowly. "Yeah," he said quietly. "I can handle that."

"Good. Now let's see what's for breakfast..." Turning to see what Eliot made for him, Lindsey made a slight face when he noticed that the food had grown all cold.

"Do you think you can reheat this?"

Eliot smirked. He just couldn't help it at that question. "I think you're asking the wrong question, Linds."

The smirk got an arched look in return. Lindsey was bemused more than anything, and, no matter what, this was still his brother here. "And what should the right question be?"

"If I will reheat it."

Eliot wore the same look he always had when he managed to find a rare loophole in Lindsey's arguments when they were teens. He was going to make his brother ask.

Lindsey stared as if it never even occurred to him that Eliot would refuse. "What? You want me to eat it cold?"
