It hadn't been anything close to Erik's plans to begin harboring individuals wanted by international authorities, but he had been unable to refuse. From the moment he had met the young woman, Erik had known her for a kindred spirit. The connection had been immediate and profound.
Months later, he muses that an even stronger, far more unexpected connection has developed. Wandering the large, secluded house they've occupied for some time, Erik discovers Wanda waiting for him in his study, perched on his desk. A wide, warm smile touches his face.
"Hello there, sweetheart. To what do I owe the visit?"
Wanda smiled at Erik, leaning back on her hands as he walked into the room. She'd chosen to wear a little bit of an extra short dress that day, still darker in color as she was apt to do but there was no jacket which left her arms bare as well. Her hair had been pulled into a messy bun out of frustration more than anything despite that it didn't really go with the outfit or her intentions much.
"Well, I was missing you and I thought if I didn't see you I'd probably end up getting into some trouble."
His eyebrows arch, and not only from the unexpected implication in Wanda's response. Erik also quickly notes his daughter's state of dress-- which is to say, he can't help but notice the greater expanse of skin on display, particularly her shapely legs. He tries to shake off the instantaneous physical reaction, but he knows how difficult that is for his gender, so instead, he tries to steer the conversation.
"We certainly can't have that, can we?" Erik moves closer, although once he's near enough to Wanda to nearly feel her warmth, he does wonder if it wasn't a mistake to do so. "So what shall we do to help you out, then? You don't play chess, do you?"
Wanda's eyes lifted to Erik's face and she wasn't sure what she was doing. Why she was doing this but at the same time it felt quite natural. It was probably the least natural thing, though, as her fingers reached to brush over his arm, eyes lowering.
The touch on his arm could have been a simple, casual gesture. Or it could have been something else, judging from the slight undercurrent in Wanda's voice that he couldn't quite place. Still, Erik didn't sense anything amiss just yet.
"All right, then, you've got some energy to burn off. So we need something a bit more active. Did you have anything in mind?"

As the head of the family, Hanzo Shimada really has little need to personally involve himself with the individual interests of the clan, but that is not the kind of man he is. Take for instance their corporate sponsorship of one Hana Song. At least once a month, Hanzo himself visits the young star personally.
On this particular trip, they're meeting in an expensive, exclusive Seoul hotel in the finest suite. Hanzo enters, finding the young woman waiting for him, and smiles. "Hello, my dear."
